View file processing in the Admin App

Showpad processes uploaded files to ensure your content is accessible on any device. Admins can now view all processing and failed files directly from the main menu on the Library tab. If one or more new file versions fail to process, you can review them and choose to delete or add them to the library, either individually or in bulk. This gives you greater control and visibility over your content.

Universal links to files and Pages

Links shared internally to files and Pages now open directly in the Showpad app or a web browser, depending on what's available on the recipient's device. This makes it easier for users to move between files, Pages, Courses, and Paths, and ensures internal links open in the right place.

New language support

To support sellers in their native language, we’ve added support for Bulgarian. Sellers can now select Bulgarian as their preferred language when viewing any Showpad app.

Custom file thumbnails

In the Admin App, admins can now apply custom thumbnails to assets. This helps to represent content accurately on Showpad, improving content discoverability and brand consistency.

Custom thumbnails allow for a better curated presentation of your content, ensuring that the first impression reflects the asset well.

Upload PNGs and JPGs now to use as custom thumbnails. They can be added to various asset types, including documents, photos, SCORM, video, audio, and 3D models.

Shared Spaces management dashboard (Beta)

Shared Spaces enable sellers to collaborate with buyers and each other. Now, admins can gain a clear overview of all the Shared Spaces in their organization, making it easy to find, organize, and act on relevant data. Admins can track participant interactions and seamlessly transfer ownership when needed. This feature streamlines management, enhances collaboration, and maximizes the impact of Shared Spaces.

The feature is available in beta, and we encourage you to share your feedback directly in the dashboard.

Enhanced user management

Improvements to user and user group management in the Admin App make it easier to manage organizations at scale and provide parity with the functionality admins were comfortable with in the Online Platform.

Among many enhancements to the users page, added filters enable admins to refine their user list and apply changes to the applicable users. An additional country field is available in the user detail panel, allowing for greater regional customization.

In the user groups tab, admins can filter user groups and delete them in bulk, streamlining the management of multiple groups at once. More data visibility allows admins to see active and deactivated users within a group. Additionally, you can now click into the group name to open a list of all group members, and easily add new members.

User management CSV import and export improvements

New fields added to the user export and import CSV and XLS templates give admins more ability to perform bulk edits. With these additional columns, admins have a more holistic data set to export with their user list, make edits, and import it.

Automation Rules: New trigger events and enhanced audit log

Automation Rules help admins eliminate repetitive tasks so they can focus on more impactful work. And now, they’re more powerful than ever.

To streamline user management, we added a new action for the User completed Course trigger. Now, it can automatically deactivate users after they finish a Course. We’ve also added two new trigger events:

• New user created: Automatically add users to groups based on specific conditions.
• User details changed: Add or remove users from groups when their details are updated.

For content management, a new Scheduler trigger event lets admins automatically archive content at regular intervals. Finally, To support greater visibility, the audit log now includes enhanced details that help track the status of executed rules.

LibraryIQ

Admins can now boost their library efficiency in the Admin App. In the Library Health section of the Libraries tab, admins will find smart suggestions for optimizing their Files library.

LibraryIQ automatically identifies and groups files that need attention, making it easier to spot gaps and take quick action. Admins can efficiently remove duplicates, link localized assets, and assign language properties. This keeps the library organized, reduces clutter, and improves content discoverability.

Mark Courses as completed

Admins need a way to track Course completions outside of Showpad. That’s why we’ve introduced the ability for admins to mark Courses as completed. Now, admins and designated Promoted Members can mark a single Course as completed for one user, for multiple users at once, or multiple Courses for a single user. This new option ensures completions are accurately recorded, even when a Course is updated, broken into smaller units, or migrated from another system.

New language support

Enhanced engagement insights in the Files and Pages libraries

Admins now have more ways to analyze asset engagement leveraging advanced filtering. In the Files library, they can quickly identify inactive files by filtering for Last buyer activity or Last seller activity using the is (=) Empty criteria.

Additionally, the Files and Pages libraries now include Buyer views and Seller views columns, simplifying engagement tracking. With advanced search, admins can also sort assets by view count.

The Pages library now offers deeper performance insights with new columns: Last buyer activity, Last seller activity, Buyer interest, and Seller interest. These additions provide a clear view of performance and user interaction.

Create tags by pasting a comma-separated list

Tags are used throughout Showpad to categorize, manage, and help locate content. Often, admins compile tag lists outside of Showpad. To make tagging content easier in the Admin App, admins can now copy and paste a comma-separated list wherever tags can be created. Existing tags are automatically selected, while new ones are created. This feature, which mirrors the legacy Online Platform, saves admins time and allows them to manage content efficiently within the streamlined Admin App.

Simplified localization settings for AI-powered features

Admins can now manage the languages for AI-powered Tag Translations and beta AI-powered Video Captions in the AI-powered Features settings page in the Admin App. This consolidated menu eliminates the need for a separate Localization settings page.

By default, all languages are enabled, but admins can customize which ones their sellers see for tags and video subtitles. AI-powered Asset FAQs can be viewed by sellers in all available languages.

Sort search results on Android

Now, when users search for content on the Android app, they can sort the results by Relevance, Newest, or Oldest, just like on the Web App. Sorting makes it easier for sellers to quickly find what they need while they're out in the field.

The redesigned interface offers functional parity with the legacy Online Platform alongside advanced capabilities tailored for admins. Boost productivity and agility with exclusive AI-powered features, question-based reporting, multilanguage support, and Automation Rules.

Key benefits include streamlined content management for faster uploads and bulk editing, powerful global search across your entire library, and a centralized analytics hub for quicker insights. With enhanced collaboration tools like Shared Space templates and a sleek, modern design, the Admin App accelerates adoption and simplifies your workflows.

You can switch back to the Online Platform at any time. However, it is being retired and will no longer receive updates.

SCORM Reports

Admins can now bulk export SCORM Course data directly from Coach Reports, eliminating the need to review individual records. You’ll find SCORM Reports in the Coach Reports section of the Analytics tab. The reports allow you to view, sort, and export SCORM data seamlessly. The export formats are compatible with BI tools for advanced analysis. Additionally, SCORM Reports allow flexible access through both the Admin App and API for reporting and integration.

Shared Space templates

Shared Space templates empower admins to create on-brand, pre-filled templates tailored to specific selling scenarios. The Shared Space Templates library in the Admin App includes expanded management options and usage insights. Admins can see which templates are favored and quickly duplicate the popular ones, reducing setup time.

Additionally, Shared Space Templates are available via API, allowing for the automation of Shared Space creation, integration with existing tools, and building custom workflows.

iOS support in China

The newest version of our iOS app, fully compliant with China’s latest app regulations, is now available in the Chinese app store. Existing users in China can continue using the current global version without interruption, but we encourage you to download the new version to access the latest updates and support.

Coach Discussions removal

Last May, we sunset the Discussions feature from the Coach Course Viewer. With the February release, we’ve removed it from the admin Collaboration tab and users' Social tab. We recommend guiding users to the Course Feedback feature for a more streamlined way to share actionable insights with Course authors.

Automation Rules with rolling release dates

Now, Automation Rules also support rolling dates, allowing you to dynamically set content release and expiration time frames. This option helps eliminate outdated content and ensures sellers stay focused on your most impactful materials.

Microsoft Copilot for Sales enhanced capabilities

Updates are rolling out to the Showpad eOS plugin for Copilot. It enables sellers to add Showpad-recommended content to their emails within the Copilot for Sales draft email flow. Paired with the content viewing insights already available in the Copilot email summary section, sellers can make smart content choices while drafting tailored emails to their customers.

Copilot updates will be deployed by Microsoft to the various regions over the following weeks.

Content recommendations in MS Dynamics

Create recommendation policies for MS Dynamics to help sellers find the content they need at the right moment. Enabling these policies will give your sales reps the best content suggestions for advancing each deal. Depending on the setup, users can find, present, and share recommended content surfaced in Accounts, Leads, Contacts, or Opportunities.

Recommended content is based on metadata in the CRM and curated recommendation rules as well as AI recommendation policies.

AI-powered Answers in Search and mobile search improvements

Users on the Web App or iOS can now type questions in the search bar and receive AI-generated answers based on the content in their Showpad instance. Click on any listed content source to view the relevant Showpad asset. AI-powered Answers in Search supports the official Showpad languages, so you can type your question and receive answers in your desired language.

Additionally, other mobile search improvements have been implemented on iOS to make search on par with the Web App, such as better filtering options and improved search history visibility.

Improved AEM Asset Connect Integration

A new and improved Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) Integration is now available to replace the current solution. It provides smoother performance, better reliability, and faster support. This integration enables admins to sync documents, properties, and permissions from AEM to Showpad while optimizing them for web and mobile usage.

Admin search improvements

Updates to the Admin App and Online Platform have arrived to help admins refine their searches and find content in their Libraries more efficiently. Admins can select sorting criteria and also include archived assets. In the Online Platform, keyword matches will now be highlighted where found in the title or description of the asset.
