Configure Shared Spaces notifications Updated October 10, 2024 12:47 Email notifications and reminders keep everyone informed of what's going on in the Shared Spaces they are involved in. As an external participant in a Shared Space, you can receive notifications when someone new joins, new content is added, or new comments are made. Internal participants have the same notification options, with the addition of a participant activity summary.With a Mutual Action Plan enabled, all participants can receive email notifications about their Next Step action items, what actions have been completed, and a reminder about the next steps to take. If your admin has enabled the Slack or Gong integrations, you can manage the notifications you receive on those apps within your user settings. Note: If a participant wants to leave the Shared Space, it is advised to Revoke Access to that participant instead of disabling the Shared Space notifications. This is the only time default notifications can be set. When creating a Shared Space, click Notification Settings at the bottom of the New Shared Space window. Toggle the options for Participant Visit Summary, New Joiner Updates, and Comments.Participants can change their individual settings after joining the Shared Space. Updating your notification preferences Open one of your Shared Spaces activity emails. Click the link on the bottom to adjust your email preferences and log into Showpad. If you're already in the Shared Space, navigate to the three dots in the top right menu and select My Preferences. External participants can also follow the link from their email or click their profile in the top right to access the preferences. Each type of email notification has a toggle that you can turn on or off. Participant Visit Summary: When toggled on, you will receive a summary of participants' actions during a session. New Joiner Updates: When toggled on, you will receive a notification every time a new participant joins the Shared Space. Comments: When toggled on, you will receive notifications about new comments in the Shared Space. You can also select to be notified for only @mentions and your active threads or all comments.
