Record MS Teams calls with MeetingIQ

Users can now use MeetingIQ bot to record calls conducted through MS Teams. Setting it up is as simple as adding the MeetingIQ bot to your calendar invite with a valid MS Teams meeting link. The MeetingIQ Bot will then record and transcribe the call so users can view and learn from their calls in Showpad, as well as share them. MeetingIQ is also compatible with Zoom, Webex, and GoToMeeting, and is available in English only.

Improvements in Shared Spaces

A plethora of improvements have arrived to enhance users' sharing experience on Showpad and make everyone's job a little easier. Find Shared Spaces easier and faster with a new filter search on the Shared Spaces overview page. You'll notice some visual enhancements that make Shared Spaces look sharper too, like the ability to remove the white background of a customer logo, and resize a company logo. If Showpad users have uploaded an avatar image, it will also appear in the Shared Space for a personal touch.

Spotlight announcements and a Home Screen for Android

Android users are now greeted with Spotlight announcements on a Home tab when using the Showpad app on their device. Similar to other Showpad platforms, up to seven Spotlight announcements give users immediate insights directly from admins for quick information on the go. In addition, we have implemented improvements to mobile navigation. Users can access Experiences through the Home tab, where they are easily accessible beneath the Spotlight announcements. The home tab also has featured assets, including newest uploaded, last viewed, and most viewed.

Offline Email sharing for the Windows Desktop app

The Showpad Windows Desktop app is continually improving, and we are excited to announce that offline email sharing is now supported. Users can create and queue sharing content while offline, which will be automatically sent when a connection is available. Share great content from anywhere, anytime.

Enable page-level tracking for HTML5 apps

Admins who use HTML5 apps can now track specific page views, shedding light on the most popular areas your users flock to within Content Reports. Sales users will also be able to see specific page views in their Shares activity on the Web and Windows Desktop apps. This granular information can be used as a treasure map toward discovering what content is paying off the most.

Register users with Live Training

In a time where virtual learning and webinars are more valuable than ever, we've enhanced Showpad Coach with live training registration capabilities. Live Training enables users to register for training sessions outside of Showpad (such as webinars or classroom training) as part of a path. After the training is complete, admins can mark the user's attendance in the session to track attendance. It’s all part of keeping everything digitally organized so you don’t have to do it manually.

Organize content in Shared Spaces with Folders

Shared Spaces now allow users to organize and group content strategically using folders. Categorizing assets into folders helps create a cleaner aesthetic and makes it easier for customers to find the content they are looking for. No more scrolling through endless lists looking for the relevant file for an overall better user experience. From within a Shared Space, click the Add option to create Folders, which can be nested, folders within folders, giving users the ability to create thoughtfully structured content. Users can add content directly to a Folder in Shared Spaces by opening it adding content.

Preview and select files directly within Outlook

Users now have the ability to preview and select files from directly within the Outlook plugin. This eliminates the confusing process reps previously encountered because they are no longer redirected to the Web app after they click an asset to preview it.

Improvements to the Android sharing experience

Create email signatures on Showpad's Android app for an email experience on par with your favorite email client. Users will also notice new content links for inline sharing on par with the Web app instead of the older View Content button experience.

Share content from My Files with colleagues 
Sept 17, 2020

New functionality will allow users to share assets from their My Files internally with other Showpad users via link or email. A new tab will be available in My Files where users will find all the content shared with them, with a similar feel to Google Drive. To avoid skewing reporting data, assets that are shared internally will not appear in reporting or sharing insights. The new 'Share with Colleague' option will be found on all types of assets in users' My Files.

Jump into Coach with Deeplinking on iOS

Skip the browser when sending links to learners with Showpad’s updated deep linking to Coach for iOS devices. Coach admins can send courses and paths to users who will be directed to the Showpad app instead of the browser for smooth, easy learning on the go. Deeplinking is available for all Coach links.

Transfer ownership of Shared Spaces

To combat ever-changing sales territories and deal cycles that may outlast roles, your users can transfer ownership of Shared Spaces from one active user to another. The current Shared Space owner can leave a note for the new owner to handover any pertinent information about the space or customer. Current Shared Spaces owners can also choose if they would like to remain a member in the space when they transfer ownership or leave it entirely.

Open PowerPoint files in Microsoft PowerPoint Online

Users can bring all the smoothness of Microsoft PowerPoint into a Showpad presentation. It allows Office files to be seen with full performance capabilities in a Microsoft Online viewer. For Office Online users, this means animations, transitions, and speaker notes will be available when using Showpad in present mode.

Enhanced search for Gmail and Chrome extension

We brought our best search from the Web app to Gmail and Chrome. Users sharing from Showpad's Gmail plugin or the Chrome extension will see better search results returned, and the ability to filter searches with tags and document types. This enhanced search functionality helps users finding the content they need and sharing the right type of assets easily.

A new asset detail panel

We made it easy to see engagement metrics at a glance such as how many shares a piece of content has overall, average in-app viewing time, and content likes with the new user asset detail panel.

Every piece of content you select includes data at-at-glance such as description, tags, author, and comments. If you don't need all that info at once, you can hide and reveal sections. Showpad remembers your most recent setup, so when you have hidden data options, they will stay that way the next time you log in.

Make collections available offline on Windows Desktop app

Users can download collections so they can be used offline with the Windows Desktop app. This is particularly useful for sales reps on the go. They can feel secure knowing their collections are ready to be presented, with or without an internet connection.

Edit and track Google Docs and Sheets from Showpad

In addition to Showpad's current Google Slides integration, users can customize and edit Google Docs and Sheets as well. They can create a copy and edit any assets that can be personalized, ensuring the most up to date and tailored information is always being presented. 

The new version uploads to their My Files. When editing Google assets within My Files, users can overwrite and edit the existing version, or create another copy. Any changes users make are reflected in Showpad and Google Drive, streamlining their workflow.

Log MeetingIQ meetings to CRM

Seamless in app test-taking functionality on iOS

Showpad Coach has improved test-taking functions on iOS so that users will be able to take tests directly in their Showpad app instead of a mobile web browser, as long as they are online. Gone are the days of browser redirection and longer loading times. Your Coach sales team users will be able to complete tests on iOS with the same ease as on the Web App.

Sales users now have more opportunities to provide feedback on the go, with the same functionality as using the Showpad Web app. Users can now provide their peers PitchIQ feedback on all pitch types, including written, audio, and voiceover when they are on the go with Showpad's iOS app.
