    Enable AI-powered Showpad features

    Showpad provides AI-powered features to deliver an intuitive, efficient, personalized experience. These AI capabilities enhance the Showpad experience by providing smart recommendations, automating repetitive tasks, and offering insights that drive better decision-making. As an administrator, you can enable and configure these AI features to optimize both the Showpad user apps and the Admin App. By tailoring AI settings, you can ensure that your team benefits from enhanced productivity, streamlined workflows, and a more engaging user experience.

    AI-powered features that support translations can be translated into your users preferred languages. Users can use these 18 supported languages in their Showpad instance:

    Do this step by step

    To enable and configure AI-powered features, click the gear icon to open Settings and select AI-powered Features from the left menu. These are the available AI-powered features:

    Showpad Assist (Beta)

    Beta: This feature is available via a public beta. Please reach out to your Account Manager if you are interested in participating.

    Showpad Assist is an intelligent assistant designed for busy sellers. When enabled, users can capture unstructured notes easily via voice, text, or even a photo of a whiteboard. Assist then organizes these notes into clear, AI-powered summaries. Unlike standalone AI tools, Assist is built directly into Showpad. This enables it to leverage your secure company content and CRM data for superior context, providing instant follow-up actions, such as email drafts and CRM updates.     1. To enable Showpad Assist, toggle the feature on. By default, this is disabled for all users.
    2. User access: Select if you wish to enable the feature for:
      • All: This will enable the feature for all users.
      • Selected: This will enable the feature for specific user groups. Check the user groups for which you want Showpad Assist enabled. Quickly find user groups by typing in the Select field.
    3. Connections: Select how you would like CRM activities to be logged:
      • Tasks: Typically used for to-do items that need to happen on a specific date.
      • Events: Typically used to block off a specific period of time on a user’s calendar.
    4. Click Save.

    When a Showpad user tries to connect their Microsoft calendar to Showpad Assist for the first time, your organization's Microsoft Entra Admin must grant initial consent. To approve this one-time request, the Microsoft Entra Admin should follow these steps:

    1. In the Microsoft Entra admin center, navigate to the Applications tab, then click Enterprise applications.
    2. Click Admin consent requests.
    3. Find the Showpad Assist request.

    4. Click Review permissions and consent.

      Note: This is a single, one-time approval by the Microsoft Entra Admin that applies to all Showpad Assist users in your organization.

      Note: For security reassurance, the ability to connect a calendar is only accessible to Showpad users with Assist enabled. Although the organization grants a one-time permission approval, the connection is only activated by the individual user. Users also maintain control and can revoke their calendar access at any time via the calendar disconnect button in Showpad Assist.

    AI-powered Filename Compliance

    Legacy plan: Showpad Content Ultimate

    Showpad AI can recommend improved filenames for your assets that fit your established parameters. When enabled, you’ll be presented with a filename suggestion in the asset detail panel. Learn how to view and apply suggested filenames.

    1. To enable the AI-powered Filename Compliance feature, toggle it on. The feature is disabled by default. Then click the feature name to view your options:
      • Unclear Filenames: Select if you’d like to use Showpad AI to detect unclear filenames.
      • Character Limit: To prevent filenames from being truncated across different systems, check the box and set a character limit.
      • Separators: Check the box to add a separator between words in suggested filenames. Then, select your preferred separator from the dropdown menu.
      • Capitalization: Select if you’d like the first letter of each word capitalized in the suggested filenames.
      • Exclude special characters: Check the box to exclude any special characters in the suggested filenames. To make an exception for certain characters, list them.
      • Date: To remove any existing dates and add a new date to all filename suggestions, check the box and select your preferred date format. This is the date the file was added to the library. Next, select if you’d like the date added to the beginning of the filename as a prefix or to the end as a suffix.

    2. After establishing your settings, you can test the AI suggestions by entering a name in the Filename example field. A suggested filename will appear below the field automatically.

      Note: If the Unclear Filenames rule is selected, the testing/preview is not expected to work.

    AI-powered Asset FAQs

    Legacy plan: Showpad Content Ultimate

    Showpad AI can provide short summaries of assets for your users. When enabled, this feature displays an additional section in the asset details panel with an asset summary in the form of questions and answers.

    When users view assets in the Web App or Windows Desktop App, asset FAQs will be translated into your seller's preferred language. See how to generate AI-powered Asset FAQs in the Asset Viewer.

    1. To enable AI-powered Asset FAQs, toggle the feature on. By default, this is disabled for all users.
    2. Select if you wish to enable the feature for:
      • All: This will enable the feature for all users.
      • Selected: This will enable the feature for specific user groups. Check the user groups for which you want asset FAQs enabled. Quickly find user groups by typing in the Select field.
    3. Click Save.

    Note: The asset FAQs will be translated into the user’s selected language and not the asset's content.

    AI-powered Message Composer (Beta)

    Beta: This feature is available via a public beta. Please reach out to your Account Manager if you are interested in participating.

    Showpad AI offers the AI-powered Message Composer to assist revenue teams in enhancing their messaging and email communications. This tool helps users improve their text in contexts like Email Shares and Shared Space invitations. Users can choose from several standard options, including: refining grammar and spelling, adjusting message tone (formal, urgent, etc.), or changing text length. As an added benefit, admins can configure custom writing guidelines, allowing users to apply your organization's specific brand tone of voice rules to their messages.

    1. To enable AI-powered Message Composer, toggle the feature on. By default, this is disabled for all users. Then click the feature name to view your options: 
    2. Click the User access tab to select if you wish to enable the feature for:
      1. All: This will enable the feature for all users.
      2. Selected: This will enable the feature for specific user groups. Check the user groups for which you want AI-powered Message Composer enabled. Quickly find user groups by typing in the Select field.
    3. Click the Brand Guidelines tab to configure the guidelines AI-powered Message Composer will use to help rewrite user content.
    4. Select or unselect the guidelines relevant to your organization. Click Save.

    Note: The AI-powered Message Composer supports text in English only.

    AI-powered Video Captions (Beta)

    Beta: This feature is available via a public beta. Please reach out to your Account Manager if you are interested in participating.

    Plan: eOS Expert, eOS Advanced
    Legacy plan: This plan is currently in beta for Content Ultimate and Coach Plus customers for testing. Once the feature is generally released, it will be available to all Ultimate and Coach Plus users.

    Showpad AI can add translated captions to the videos you upload to the Files library. When enabled, subtitles will be applied to newly uploaded videos in your selected languages. See how to adjust the available subtitles for individual videos in the Files library. When viewed on the Web App, users and prospects can select to watch videos with subtitles in their preferred language.

    1. To enable AI-powered Video Captions, toggle the feature on. By default, this is disabled for all users. Then click the feature name to view your options:
    2. Click the User access tab to select if you wish to enable the feature for:
      • All: This will enable the feature for all users.
      • Selected: This will enable the feature for specific user groups. Check the user groups for which you want AI-powered Video Captions enabled. Quickly find user groups by typing in the Select field.
    3. Click the Enabled Languages tab to enable supported languages. By default, all languages are enabled.
    4. Enter a preferred language and check the box to select it. Select all languages for subtitle translation.
    5. Click Save.

    You can select any of the following 31 available languages:

    AI-powered Tag Translation

    Showpad AI can translate the tags and tag categories you use to organize your content. When enabled, the tag and tag category detail panel will display translations in your selected languages. See how to toggle individual tag translations on or off. Users can view and search for tags and tag categories in their preferred language on the Showpad Web App, Windows Desktop App, iOS app, and Android app.

    1. To enable AI-powered Tag Translations, toggle the feature on. By default, this is disabled for all users. Then click the feature name to view your options.
    2. Click the User access tab to select if you wish to enable the feature for:
      • All: This will enable the feature for all users.
      • Selected: This will enable the feature for specific user groups. Check the user groups for which you want AI tag translation enabled. If you have many groups, you can quickly find them by typing in the Select field.
    3. Click the Enabled Languages tab to enable supported languages. By default, all languages are enabled.
    4. Enter a preferred language and check the box to select it. Select all languages for tag translation. You can select any of the 18 supported languages available to use in Showpad.
    5. Click Save.

    AI-powered Answers in Search

    Plan: eOS Expert
    Legacy plan: Showpad Content Ultimate Add-on

    Showpad AI can provide users with answers to questions and queries they type into the search field. When enabled, users will see an AI-generated answer above the search results, along with the source assets used to answer the question. Learn how to generate AI-powered Answers in Search.

    1. To enable AI-powered Answers in Search, toggle the feature on. By default, this is disabled for all users. Then click the feature name to view your options.
    2. Select if you wish to enable the feature for:
      • All: This will enable the feature for all users.
      • Selected: This will enable the feature for specific user groups. Check the user groups for which you want AI-powered Answers in Search enabled. If you have many groups, you can quickly find them by typing in the Select field.
    3. Click Save.

    AI-powered Page Builder (Beta)

    Beta: This feature is available via a public beta. Please reach out to your Account Manager if you are interested in participating.

    Plan: eOS Expert
    Legacy plan: Currently in beta for select legacy Content Ultimate customers for testing. Once released, this feature will be exclusive to the new eOS Expert tier.

    Showpad AI can help you create Pages to share with your users and buyers. When enabled, you’ll have the option to follow AI prompts to help you create a new Page. Learn how to create a Page with the Showpad AI assistant.

    1. To enable AI-powered Page Builder, toggle the feature on. By default, this is disabled for all users.

    AI-powered Descriptions

    Plan: eOS Expert, eOS Advanced
    Legacy plan: Showpad Content Ultimate

    Showpad AI can suggest descriptions based on the content of your assets. When enabled, a file description suggestion for newly uploaded files is available in the asset details panel in the Files library. Learn how to view and apply suggested descriptions.

    Asset descriptions are not visible when users share the file with prospects or customers. However, they can be found in the asset details panel when users view content.

    1. To enable AI-powered Descriptions, toggle the feature on. By default, this is disabled for all users.

    AI-powered Keywords (Beta)

    Beta: This feature is available via a public beta. Please reach out to your Account Manager if you are interested in participating.

    Plan: eOS Expert, eOS Advanced
    Legacy plan:  Currently in beta and available to select Ultimate customers for testing. It will be included for all Ultimate customers once it is generally available.

    Showpad AI can determine keywords to help you understand your files at a glance based on the content in your assets. When enabled, you’ll see a list of AI-generated keywords in a newly uploaded asset’s details tab in the Files library. Keywords for photos, documents, videos, and audio are integrated into the metadata of your assets, enhancing their searchability.

    1. To enable AI-powered Keywords, toggle the feature on. By default, this is disabled for all users.

    AI-powered Pitch Insights (PitchAI) (Beta)

    Beta: This feature is available via an open beta. Users and reviewers can improve this feature by sharing their feedback in Showpad while using PitchAI.

    PitchAI enhances PitchIQ by providing immediate, actionable feedback on recorded submissions for both sellers and reviewers. When enabled, sellers can instantly use these targeted insights to refine their delivery and win more deals without waiting for team input. Meanwhile, coaches can scale their efforts and save time by using the AI's objective scoring as a consistent starting point, freeing them to focus on high-level strategic guidance. Reviewers maintain full control over refining and overriding the AI's suggestions before submitting a review.

    1. To enable AI-powered Pitch Insights (PitchAI), toggle the feature on. By default, this is turned on for existing PitchAI users as of November 10, 2025, but it’s off for organizations new to Showpad.
    2. Click the feature name to view your options. Select if you wish to enable the feature for:
      • All: This will enable the feature for all users.
      • Selected: This will enable the feature for specific user groups. Check the user groups for which you want PitchAI enabled. If you have many groups, you can quickly find them by typing in the Select field.
    3. Click Save.
