Showpad Value Factory helps you turn prospect information into value calculations and branded reports without leaving Showpad. Your administrator does the heavy lifting of configuring the calculators for you. You use them to build a business case, share results with prospects, and track how they engage with your reports.

You need this to succeed

Showpad Value Factory assigned to your Showpad account by an administrator
At least one published value model available to your user or group

Your administrator controls which value models are available to you. If a model you expect is missing, contact your Showpad administrator.

Where to find Showpad Value Factory

Showpad Value Factory is available in three places inside Showpad: via Experiences, via the asset viewer, or when adding content to a Shared Space, Collection, or My Files.

Your organization may provide a sandbox app alongside the production app. Use the sandbox only when your administrator asks you to test a workflow. Use the production app for live prospect work.

Experience Extension

The main entry point. Open it to choose a value model, create a calculation, reopen past work, view reports, share live links, export snapshots, and add reports to Shared Spaces.

Asset Viewer Extension

When you open a Showpad asset that has a content tag mapped to a value model, Showpad Value Factory appears beside the content. This lets you start or continue a value conversation in the context of the asset you're reviewing with a prospect.

Add Content (Shared Spaces, Collections, My Files)

Add a live report link, PDF snapshot, or Google Slides deck directly to a Shared Space, Collection, or My Files without going through the Experience Extension. Live report links are added using Add URL. PDFs and Google Slides decks are saved as files and added using the add-to-destination flow.

What you can do

Calculations

Your administrator creates the reusable value model. You apply it to a specific prospect or opportunity to create a calculation. A calculation stores everything: prospect details, discovery responses, inputs, and computed results. You can return to it and update it as the opportunity develops. Use a name that helps you find it later in Past Calculations.

Reports

A report presents a calculation's results using a template your administrator has set up. You can view it before sharing, choose between available templates, and see the branded output your prospect will receive.

Live report links

A live report link gives your prospect an interactive, branded experience. The link always reflects your current calculation values, so if you update a calculation after sharing, the prospect's view updates too.

Exports

Showpad Value Factory gives you three ways to share a report with a prospect: an interactive live link, a PDF, or a Google Slides export. The PDF and Google Slides options are fixed snapshots taken at export time and don't update after you share them. Export a new copy after material changes to a calculation. Use a snapshot when your prospect needs a printable or archivable copy, or when a live link isn't the right fit for the sharing context.

Combine value reports with proposals, case studies, and other content in a Shared Space. Add live report links or PDF snapshots and use engagement analytics to plan your follow-up.
