Create Shared Space templates

Note: This article is about the new beta Admin App, which is still in development. Changes may occur. Please provide feedback directly in the beta app.

Boost Shared Spaces adoption and promote best practices by using Shared Space templates in the Admin App. These templates help create on-brand, pre-filled content tailored to specific scenarios. With these carefully crafted templates, sellers can significantly reduce the time needed to create engaging Shared Spaces for their buyers.

The quick way

1. Go to the Templates section of the Libraries tab, and select Shared Spaces
2. Create a New Template
3. Add a Name and Description
4. Select a Sharing theme
5. Fill the Shared Space with content, and folders
6. Assign your template to users and user groups

Do this step by step

1. Navigate to the Libraries tab.
2. From the Branding menu, select Shared Space Templates.
3. Click New Template.
4. Enter a Name and Description for the template. Select a Sharing Theme, then click Create.
5. Click and type to Add the Shared Space title and welcome text.
6. Populate the template with content. Click Add and choose Select content to add assets from your library.
7. To organize assets into folders, click Add and select Create folder. Give the folder a Name and Description, then click Create. Move necessary assets into the folder within the Shared Space to organize.
8. Once the template is complete, click Publish to make it available to users. Assign the users and/or groups you want to have access to the template. Click Publish.
9. Click the three dot menu at any time to edit the user access, preview the Shared Space, change the theme, or unpublish the template. Theme changes only apply to Shared Spaces created after the changes were made.
10. Click Close to return to the Shared Space templates overview.
11. From the main page, you can view all your Shared Space templates, including their last update, creation date, creator, and publication status.
12. Click the three dot menu next to any template to:
    
    • Open Builder: Open the template builder to continue working on an existing template and make changes.
    • Preview: View the Shared Space template.
    • Edit template details: Update the name or description of the template.
    • User access: Select which users and groups have access to the template.
    • Publish or Unpublish a template.
    • Delete a template.
