Ensure page groups and specific pages are included in Shares Updated January 08, 2026 16:24 Control how content is shared by ensuring critical information is always included. You can enforce the inclusion of specific, non-sequential pages or slides, such as legal disclaimers, cover sheets, or calls to action. You can also group sequential pages to keep chapters together. By defining these required pages, you ensure sellers always provide buyers with accurate, compliant, and complete documents, preventing the risk of sharing information out of context.See how it looksKey featuresGroup proprietary and regulated pages to ensure they’re always shared togetherEnforce the inclusion of specific, non-sequential pages (like cover pages or disclaimers)Sellers don't have to worry about including regulated or confidential outlinesSupports multipage PDFs, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word filesBy default, all document pages can be shared without the required pagesAvailable on the Web App, iOS, Android, and Windows Desktop AppYou need this to succeedPlan: eOS Expert, eOS Advanced, eOS ProfessionalLegacy plan: Showpad Coach Essential, Showpad Content Essential, or higherPermissions: Administrator, Promoted Member with Content permissionPrerequisites: A document un your Files library that consists of multiple pages or slidesThe quick wayNavigate to the All Files libraryClick on a multipage file to open its detail panel.Scroll to Permissions, and click to expand.Toggle on Pages can be separated.Choose to Enforce page groups (for ranges) and/or Always include specific pages (for required pages).Select the relevant pages or ranges.Click Save changes.Do this step by stepNavigate to the Libraries tab in the Admin App.If your organization uses multiple Divisions, select the desired one from the top-left dropdown menu.Select All Files in the left-side menu to open the Files library.Click on a multipage file to open its detail panel.Scroll down to Permissions. When enabled, your sellers can mix and match all pages of this document with other content. Disabling this option means that your sellers can't select single pages to share, and the document will always be shared as a whole. When Pages can be separated is enabled, two additional options appear to help you control how pages are shared:Enforce page groups: Use this to lock a sequential range of pages together. For example, if you set a range of 3-5, selecting page 3 will automatically include pages 4 and 5 in the Share, Collection, or Shared Space.Always include specific pages: Use this to ensure specific pages are automatically added whenever a seller selects content from this document. This guarantees that required information, like a cover sheet (page 1) and legal disclaimers (pages 9-10), are always included in the Share, Collection, or Shared Space.Toggle on one or more options you’d like to set. Enter the From and To page numbers. Click Add another page group to create additional ranges. Ensure ranges do not overlap within the same permission.Note: When working across both permissions, ensure your required pages include all enforced groups to which they belong. For example, if you specify that pages 3-5 must always be grouped together and page 4 must always be included in every share, then expand the ‘Always include specific pages’ range to pages 3-5. This ensures the files will be shareable.Click Save changes. After permissions are set, sellers will see automatically added grouped or required pages in their selection when they select pages or slides from the document.
