Easily apply AI suggested tags to files and Pages to enhance asset metadata and findability. Within the AI Suggestions modal available in the file detail panel, you’ll now find relevant tag suggestions to add to a file. Secure Password reset

To enhance credential security and mitigate credential-theft risks, admins can no longer change or reset a user’s password through the user detail panel or via CSV user import. Password management for existing users is now a secure, self-service process aligned with modern security standards. The only supported way to update a user’s password is by initiating the Forgot Password flow for users, through the login screen.

Language locale enhancement

We’ve improved the language locale property and now use standard BCP-47 language tags. The change supports a Language (Country) format, making it easy to differentiate between specific variants such as English (United States) and English (United Kingdom). It also ensures better alignment with CMS and DAM integrations.

Report Builder templates

Admins can now quickly start building reports with new Report Builder templates. Instead of starting from scratch, choose from pre-configured options for asset engagement metrics, content viewing trends, or Team Competencies analysis. 

You’ll find these templates on the Templates tab of the Reports page in Analytics. They include the most relevant filters and columns, so you can start analyzing immediately or customize them to fit your specific needs.

Cloud storage tag updates

Admins can now streamline content management by configuring default tags for Asset Connect Apps, including Google Drive, Box, Dropbox, SharePoint, and AEM. Instead of manually tagging files after they sync, you can now ensure assets arrive with the correct metadata automatically. 

You can configure these default tags in the settings for each app. Additionally, you have the granular control to mark these tags as External or Local, and Global or Non-global, ensuring your taxonomy remains consistent and automated from the moment content enters Showpad.

PitchAI auto-scoring (Beta)

Managing Pages at scale is now easier with the release of Reusable Sections for Pages. You can mark any existing Page section as reusable—or create entirely new Reusable Sections—to use globally across your Pages. Whether it's your company logo, a contact section, or other frequently recreated content, Reusable Sections can be edited once, with changes automatically reflected everywhere they were used.

Lock properties you don't want other admins or Promoted Members to be able to edit, and unlock aspects that can be tailored for each specific Page. 

The feature was released as a public beta, available to all customers.

Improved AI answers and FAQs in search results

We enhanced AI-powered Answers in Search to help sellers find answers even faster. With this release, AI-generated answers now appear more prominently at the top of the results page, along with other relevant questions.

New direct links within the search results to relevant FAQs make it easier to quickly view assets with an FAQ already available. Back-end logic improvements deliver smarter, more accurate answers right when they're needed.

Select and share Page content in the Web App and email plugins

Sellers now have the ability to find and select specific assets on a Page to add directly to a Share, Shared Space, or Collection via the content picker. Additionally, sellers using the Showpad email plugins for Outlook 365 or Gmail can select and share Page content without leaving their inbox.

Introducing Custom Homepages for the Android App

The old admin experience, Online Platform, has retired

The Online Platform has officially retired. The legacy admin experience, and features like Photo Albums, Coach Engagement Reports, and the Coach Bulk Actions are no longer available.

For months, the Admin App has been the default experience, and now it's the only one. All administrative tasks can be completed there. If you had existing Photo Albums, they've been automatically converted into saved filters and Smart Folders, ensuring a smooth transition.

This change unifies all admin functionality into a single, streamlined experience. For help navigating the new Admin App, you can find tips, feature highlights, and further guidance in the Help Center.

Localized account emails for sellers

Sellers will now receive important Showpad account emails in their preferred language. As an admin, when you set a user’s language in the user creation modal, it ensures their invitation, password reset, and other system emails arrive in their native language. In addition, the first time the user logs into the Web App, they will see it in the language you set. When users update the language setting on their profile to their preferred language, it will be reflected in the Admin App as well.

Enhanced advanced filtering in Pages and Files libraries with relative dates

Administrators can now use engagement insights like buyer interest, seller interest, seller views, and buyer views as powerful new advanced filters in the Pages and Files libraries. This allows you to quickly identify content that requires attention based on performance grades and view counts.

Additionally, date-based advanced filters for Pages and files now support custom relative dates, enabling dynamic filters that stay relevant over time. Use intuitive ranges like “from one month ago to one week from today” (–1m to 1w) or “within 2 weeks before today” to easily surface time-sensitive content. This also supports stronger content governance by helping you track assets nearing expiration.

View file processing in the Admin App

Showpad processes uploaded files to ensure your content is accessible on any device. Admins can now view all processing and failed files directly from the main menu on the Library tab. If one or more new file versions fail to process, you can review them and choose to delete or add them to the library, either individually or in bulk. This gives you greater control and visibility over your content.

Enhanced user management

Improvements to user and user group management in the Admin App make it easier to manage organizations at scale and provide parity with the functionality admins were comfortable with in the Online Platform.

Among many enhancements to the users page, added filters enable admins to refine their user list and apply changes to the applicable users. An additional country field is available in the user detail panel, allowing for greater regional customization.

In the user groups tab, admins can filter user groups and delete them in bulk, streamlining the management of multiple groups at once. More data visibility allows admins to see active and deactivated users within a group. Additionally, you can now click into the group name to open a list of all group members, and easily add new members.

User management CSV import and export improvements

Automation Rules: New trigger events and enhanced audit log

Automation Rules help admins eliminate repetitive tasks so they can focus on more impactful work. And now, they’re more powerful than ever.

To streamline user management, we added a new action for the User completed Course trigger. Now, it can automatically deactivate users after they finish a Course. We’ve also added two new trigger events:

• New user created: Automatically add users to groups based on specific conditions.
• User details changed: Add or remove users from groups when their details are updated.

For content management, a new Scheduler trigger event lets admins automatically archive content at regular intervals. Finally, To support greater visibility, the audit log now includes enhanced details that help track the status of executed rules.

LibraryIQ

Admins can now boost their library efficiency in the Admin App. In the Library Health section of the Libraries tab, admins will find smart suggestions for optimizing their Files library.

Mark Courses as completed

Admins need a way to track Course completions outside of Showpad. That’s why we’ve introduced the ability for admins to mark Courses as completed. Now, admins and designated Promoted Members can mark a single Course as completed for one user, for multiple users at once, or multiple Courses for a single user. This new option ensures completions are accurately recorded, even when a Course is updated, broken into smaller units, or migrated from another system.

Enhanced engagement insights in the Files and Pages libraries

Admins now have more ways to analyze asset engagement leveraging advanced filtering. In the Files library, they can quickly identify inactive files by filtering for Last buyer activity or Last seller activity using the is (=) Empty criteria.

Additionally, the Files and Pages libraries now include Buyer views and Seller views columns, simplifying engagement tracking. With advanced search, admins can also sort assets by view count.

The Pages library now offers deeper performance insights with new columns: Last buyer activity, Last seller activity, Buyer interest, and Seller interest. These additions provide a clear view of performance and user interaction.

Create tags by pasting a comma-separated list

Tags are used throughout Showpad to categorize, manage, and help locate content. Often, admins compile tag lists outside of Showpad. To make tagging content easier in the Admin App, admins can now copy and paste a comma-separated list wherever tags can be created. Existing tags are automatically selected, while new ones are created. This feature, which mirrors the legacy Online Platform, saves admins time and allows them to manage content efficiently within the streamlined Admin App.

Admins can now manage the languages for AI-powered Tag Translations and beta AI-powered Video Captions in the AI-powered Features settings page in the Admin App. This consolidated menu eliminates the need for a separate Localization settings page.

By default, all languages are enabled, but admins can customize which ones their sellers see for tags and video subtitles. AI-powered Asset FAQs can be viewed by sellers in all available languages.

Admins can now bulk export SCORM Course data directly from Coach Reports, eliminating the need to review individual records. You’ll find SCORM Reports in the Coach Reports section of the Analytics tab. The reports allow you to view, sort, and export SCORM data seamlessly. The export formats are compatible with BI tools for advanced analysis. Additionally, SCORM Reports allow flexible access through both the Admin App and API for reporting and integration.

Microsoft Copilot for Sales enhanced capabilities

Updates are rolling out to the Showpad eOS plugin for Copilot. It enables sellers to add Showpad-recommended content to their emails within the Copilot for Sales draft email flow. Paired with the content viewing insights already available in the Copilot email summary section, sellers can make smart content choices while drafting tailored emails to their customers.

Copilot updates will be deployed by Microsoft to the various regions over the following weeks.

AI-powered Answers in Search and mobile search improvements

Users on the Web App or iOS can now type questions in the search bar and receive AI-generated answers based on the content in their Showpad instance. Click on any listed content source to view the relevant Showpad asset. AI-powered Answers in Search supports the official Showpad languages, so you can type your question and receive answers in your desired language.

Additionally, other mobile search improvements have been implemented on iOS to make search on par with the Web App, such as better filtering options and improved search history visibility.
