Depending on how your instance is set up, you will see the following options to filter your user groups by: Property: Select to filter for user groups that are anonymized, not assigned to an Experience, not assigned to a Division, and/or have no members. Libraries: Select one or multiple Divisions to see which groups are assigned to them. Experiences: Select one or multiple Experiences to see which groups are assigned to them. You can sort your user groups by Name, number of Members, Date Added, and Anonymized status. You can also search for a particular user group in the search bar. Back to Top Edit user groups Navigate to Users, and select the User Groups tab. Click on the user group row you want to edit. This opens the user group detail panel. Hover over the field you want to edit and click the pencil icon. You can edit the group's Name, Description, Libraries, and Content Profiles. If you have Divisions enabled, you will see the option to add or remove Library assignments for the user group. Click X for the Division you want to remove or choose to add another Division from the dropdown menu. Click Save Changes. To edit the Content Profiles, select them from the dropdown menu. To remove Content Profiles, click the X next to the one you want to remove. Click Save changes. In the Managed by section, you can edit the group managers. Click the Users field and select the user you wish to assign as the manager. Click Save changes. To add a user, click the Add existing users icon in the top panel. To remove users in bulk, click on the group name to open the user list. Select the users you wish to remove, then click Remove from current group. Back to Top Explore user group information Click a user group row, then view the Overview section in the detail panel. You will see the following information: Members: The number of users assigned to the group. Anonymized: Whether or not the group's data is anonymized in reporting. This is a GDPR setting and cannot be edited. Description: An explanation of the group (optional). Added on: Displays the date on which the group was first created. In the User info section, you will see the following information: Active Users: Shows the number of active users within the group. Deactivated Users: Shows the number of deactivated users within the group. Pending Invitations: Shows how many users have not yet accepted invitations. Not Logged In: Shows the number of users who have not yet logged in to Showpad. The Licenses section shows the number of direct or partner licenses within the group. License types can be edited in bulk in the Users tab. To view all users in a particular group, click the group name on the User Groups page. This will open a list of all users assigned to a particular group. Here you can: Filter users by Role, Licenses, or Status Click on any user to view their user detail panel Select multiple users and edit them in bulk Resend invitations to pending users Create new users by clicking Add users Read more about how to manage users here. Back to Top Delete user groups To delete a single user group, click the trash icon in the top left of the detail panel. Confirm by clicking Delete. This action cannot be undone. To delete groups in bulk, select the checkboxes for the applicable groups and click the Delete icon. Confirm by clicking Delete. All reporting on users in any anonymized group(s) will no longer be anonymous. Note: Anonymized groups cannot be deleted here. They must be removed from the GDPR settings first. Back to Top Export user groups To export your user groups, click the three dot menu in the bottom right, then select Export to XLSX or Export to CSV. The list will be downloaded to your device. Note: The export includes all the user groups visible on the list. Apply specific filters to export only selected user groups.
