Manually add content to a Classic Experience Updated March 13, 2025 22:12 Experiences allow you to organize your content and distribute it to relevant users or user groups in Showpad. Once you’ve created an Experience and set up a folder structure, your next step is to add content from your Content Library to your Experience Builder, where you can edit your Experience. There are two ways to add content to an Experience: Manually by searching for and selecting content Automatically by using Smart Folders See how it looks Key features Search and select assets to add to Classic Experiences and their folders Add Pages, documents, presentations, URL assets, images, videos, and 3D models You need this to succeed Plan: eOS Expert, eOS Advanced, eOS Professional Previous plan: Showpad Content Essential or higher Permissions: Administrator, Promoted Member with Content permission Prerequisites: An existing Experience Assets in your content libraries The quick way Select a Classic Experience from the Experiences library Click Open Experience Builder Open a folder Click Add, then File or Page Search and select content to add to the folder Do this step by step Add content manually Navigate to the Libraries tab. If your organization uses multiple Divisions, select the desired Division from the top-left dropdown menu. Click Experiences in the left-side menu. Select a Classic Experience from the Experiences library. At the top of the Experience details panel, click Open Experience Builder. Navigate to the folder you want to add content to. Click Add and select File or Page from the drop-down menu. Browse for Pages, files, and URL assets using the provided filters. Choose to filter based on selected File Types, asset Properties, Tags, Author, or Source. You can use the search function here or apply a saved filter. Select the assets you wish to add to the folder, then click Insert items. To remove an asset from a folder, hover over it, click the trash icon, and confirm on the pop-up. To arrange an asset within the folder, click, drag, then drop it into its new position. Add content automatically You can automatically add content to special folders called Smart Folders.
