The recommendations, which serve up materials such as videos, ebooks, Courses, whitepapers, and infographics, are based on metadata in Salesforce and rules set up by your administrator.You can share the assets directly from the Showpad for Salesforce app via email or link sharing, or add them to Shared Spaces or Collections. Learn from content by previewing the assets within the same page, and complete Courses without ever leaving Salesforce. Navigate to one of those objects.The menu on the left shows three options:RecommendationsInsightsOpen Web App Note: The content you see here is based on rules set up by your administrator. This can be content mapping rules that consider aspects of the Salesforce object, or via AI-powered recommendation policies.Depending on how your admin configured the app for your organization, you may find the Showpad widget within the detail section of your Opportunities, Accounts, Contacts, or Leads.Click any asset in the Recommendations section to preview it. At a glance, you can see how many views and Shares the asset has had recently. Note: You'll always see why the content was recommended, regardless of your admin's configuration. Recommendations are based on either content mapping rules or AI-powered recommendation policies.Use the tabs to select to view All assets, Share assets, or Learn assets. Share assets have sharing enabled by your admin, and Learn assets are Courses and internal assets intended to help you improve as a seller. Search for a specific asset using the search field. To view any asset or video, click the thumbnail. This will allow you to view the asset in a larger format with the Asset Viewer you're familiar with in Showpad. Expand the info icon to view any asset details or engagement. Recording Showpad Video is currently not supported within the Salesforce widget.Click the X to return to the widget view.To share any of the recommended content, click the Share button in the top right. Choose to share the content via email or link. You can also add the asset to a Shared Space or Collection.To share multiple assets at once, check the box for each asset. Select to share via email or link, or add the assets to a Shared Space or Collection. When sharing via the Salesforce widget, the recipient and Log to CRM fields will be auto-populated when possible. For example, when email sharing from the Showpad for Salesforce app within the Test Opportunity, the opportunity field is pre-filled. To see the recommended Courses or internal assets related to the object you're viewing in Salesforce, click the Learn tab. To take a Course, select one from the Learn tab. View the Course details, then click Start Course. Click the X in the top right corner to return to the Showpad widget anytime. Your progress will be reflected in Showpad. InsightsThe sharing activity that was done in Showpad is now visible in the Insights tab for this specific opportunity, account, contact, or lead. Shares in the Widget Insights tab are based on email addresses associated with the object, instead of the logged contact, lead, account, or opportunity. This means Shares that don't use email addresses, such as link sharing or via messaging apps like WhatsApp, will not appear in the Salesforce WidgetOpen the Web AppThe last icon you can click opens the Showpad Web App in another browser tab to view all available content.
