Add tags to Pages in your Pages library Updated April 22, 2025 15:09 Tags are used to quickly categorize, manage, and find what you need. You can even use tags to automatically push Pages into Smart Folders, non-shareable Pages, and interactive Showpad Experiences In your Pages library, you can copy and paste tags from one Page to another. This functionality lets you easily copy all the tags from one Page in a Smart Folder and paste them into another, quickly populating your Experiences with content. See how it works Key features Label and categorize your Pages Use tags to filter Pages Copy and paste tags between Pages You need this to succeed Plan: eOS Expert, eOS Advanced, eOS Professional Previous plan: Showpad Content Plus or higher Permissions: Administrator, Promoted Member with Content permission The quick way Navigate to the Libraries tab in the Admin App. Select All Pages to open the Pages library. Click on a file to open its details panel. In the tags section, click to add or adjust the Page's tags. Select the Copy or Paste & Save icons to perform the corresponding actions. Do this step by step Add or adjust tags Navigate to the Libraries tab in the Admin App. If your organization uses multiple Divisions, select the desired one from the top-left dropdown menu. Select All Pages in the left-side menu to open the Pages library. Click on a Page to open its details panel. In the Tags section, hover over the type of tag you wish to edit and click the pencil icon to edit. Choose to add existing tags by searching and selecting them from the menu. Suggested tags will appear first, followed by tag categories.Recommended tags use the Page's title to show relevant and related tags. If they are uncategorized, you will see them in alphabetical order. Add new or existing tags by typing them and pressing Enter. Alternatively, press CTRL+V to paste a list of tags separated by commas. New tags will be created, and existing tags will be selected. Note: For each comma-separated tag, Showpad selects the first existing tag that matches, regardless of case. To remove a tag, click the X to the right of the tag name in the panel. Click Save changes when done. Back to Top Copy and Paste tags Navigate to the Libraries tab in the Admin App. If your organization uses multiple Divisions, select the desired one from the top-left dropdown menu. Select All Pages in the left-side menu to open the Pages library. Click on a Page to open its details panel. At the top of the Tags section, click the Copy icon. To paste the tags on another Page, select the target Page from the Library, and at the top of the Tags section, click the Paste & Save icon. Select Add to existing tags to add the pasted tags to the existing tags on the Page. You can view how many tags will be added and unchanged. Select Replace existing tags to replace the tags on the Page with the pasted tags. The number of tags to be added and removed will be displayed. Click Paste once you've made your selection.
