Understand the Revenue Influence dashboard (beta) Updated October 28, 2026 07:00 Marketing teams invest in content, and sellers share it with buyers to move deals forward. Know which content closes deals, and prove it without a custom Salesforce report or RevOps data pull. The Revenue Influence dashboard ties the assets sellers share with buyers to closed-won revenue, so you can invest in what's working and rethink what isn’t. See how much revenue your content influenced, how many deals it touched, and which assets and asset types drive the most results. Beta: The new Revenue Influence dashboard is currently in beta. The classic dashboard is still available under Classic Dashboards in the left menu. Your feedback will help us improve the feature. To view this dashboard's predecessor, click View classic version in the upper-right corner, or select it under Classic Dashboards in the left menu. Note: All analytics data are refreshed every 24 hours. Because deal data syncs from Salesforce, new opportunities may take longer to appear. At the bottom of the dashboard, Last data updated on shows the date and time the data was last refreshed. Back to top Filter your data Every filter you set here updates all the KPIs, charts, and the table on the dashboard at once. Click a filter to set it: Activity started at: Defaults to Last 90 days. Select a date range for when the asset was shared with a buyer, such as Last 7 days, Last 30 days, Last month, This year, Last year, or a custom range. Divisions: Choose to include (match ANY) or exclude (match NONE) the Divisions you select. Tags: Choose to include (match ANY) or exclude (match NONE) the tags you select. User groups: Choose to include (match ANY) or exclude (match NONE) the user groups you select. Click View filters to show or hide any of these filters, or drag them into the order you prefer. Click Save when you're done. Click Clear all filters to reset every filter at once. Back to top Review the KPIs At the top of the dashboard, three KPIs summarize how your content influenced closed-won deals in your filtered date range: Influenced won revenue: The total value of Closed Won opportunities that had at least one Showpad asset shared with a buyer and linked to the opportunity in your CRM. Influenced won deals: The number of Closed Won opportunities with at least one shared, CRM-linked Showpad asset. Assets linked to won deals: The number of assets shared and linked across all Closed Won deals. One asset shared on several deals is counted once per deal. Use this KPI to track content adoption across your entire pipeline, not just high-value deals. Back to top Review the trend charts Below the KPIs, three line charts break each KPI down by month, based on when assets were shared with buyers, not when deals closed. Where the KPIs give you a single total for your date range, these charts show when the content behind those wins went out. For example, if a seller shares an asset in June and the deal closes as won in September, that deal's revenue appears in June. Closed won revenue over time: A line chart showing the total value of content-influenced deals by the month assets were shared on them. A deal appears only once it's marked Closed Won in Salesforce and has at least one Showpad asset shared and logged to it. Use this chart to see whether revenue tied to your content is growing, holding steady, or dropping, and to spot standout months. Hover over a point to view the month and the amount of closed won revenue for that month. Click and drag a box to narrow the timeframe for the KPIs and charts. Click Clear filter when done. Closed won deals over time: A line chart showing the number of content-influenced deals, by the month assets were shared on them. Use this chart alongside Closed won revenue over time. A month with high revenue but few deals points to one or two large wins. A month with many deals but lower revenue points to more, smaller wins. Hover over a point to view the month and the number of content-influenced closed won deals for that month. Click and drag a box to narrow the timeframe for the KPIs and charts. Click Clear filter when done. Assets linked to won deals over time: A line chart showing how many Showpad assets were shared and logged to content-influenced deals in each month. An asset is counted once for each deal it's linked to, so one asset shared on three deals that closed in March adds three to March. Use this chart to see how much content sellers rely on to close deals, and whether that changes after you publish new content or run enablement. Hover over a point to view the month and the number of assets linked to won deals for that month. Click and drag a box to narrow the timeframe for the KPIs and charts. Click Clear filter when done. Back to top Review the asset charts The next three charts show which content types and individual assets drive the most revenue and deals. Revenue per asset type: A pie chart showing content-influenced Closed Won revenue split by the type of asset shared. A deal's revenue is attributed to every asset type shared on it, so segments may overlap across deals. Use this chart to see which formats, such as documents, videos, or Pages, drive the most revenue. Note: Asset types with the lowest use percentage are grouped into a slice labeled ‘other’. Hover over a slice to view the revenue for that asset type and its share of the total. Click a slice to filter the KPIs, charts, and table to that asset type. Click Clear filter when done. Most influencing assets by revenue: A stacked bar chart ranking the top five assets by the total value of content-influenced Closed Won opportunities. The full deal value is attributed to each linked asset, not divided between them. Hover over a bar segment to view the amount of won revenue associated with the asset. Click a bar to filter the KPIs, charts, and table to that asset. Click more than one bar to combine their data. Click Clear filter when done. Most influencing assets by deal count: A bar chart ranking the top five assets by the number of content-influenced Closed Won opportunities. Compare this with Most influencing assets by revenue. An asset that appears on many deals but ranks lower by revenue may be helping close smaller deals. Hover over a bar segment to view the number of won deals associated with the asset. Click a bar to filter the KPIs, charts, and table to that asset. Click more than one bar to combine their data. Click Clear filter when done. Note: See Revenue Influence data terms for how each measure is calculated. Back to top Review the Revenue per asset table At the bottom of the dashboard, the Revenue per asset table lists each asset linked to a Closed Won deal in your filtered date range. Columns include Asset Name, Asset Type, Created At, Tags, Closed Won Revenue, Closed Won Deals, and Win Rate. Use this table to review every asset tied to content-influenced deals. Check the Created At and Tags columns to see whether newer content is pulling its weight, or which campaigns and topics show up most in won deals. To review a specific set of assets, filter the dashboard by tag or click an asset type in Revenue per asset type. Click a column heading to sort by that column. Hover between column headings and click and drag to adjust column width. Scroll left and right to view all columns. Back to top Download or export your data Note: The filters you apply on this page aren't maintained when you export a chart or the dashboard. Chart: To download a single chart or KPI, hover over it and click the download icon in its upper-right corner. Select Download CSV, Download XLSX, or Download PNG. Revenue per asset table: Export this data as an XLS or CSV to bring into your BI tool, share with leadership, or build on in Excel. Dashboard: To download, email, or schedule the entire dashboard, click Export to the right of the filters, then select Download as PDF, Download as PNG, Email, or Schedule. Learn more about exporting dashboards. Back to top How revenue influence is calculated The dashboard reviews Showpad assets sellers shared with buyers and logged to a Salesforce opportunity, then links them to opportunities marked Closed Won within your selected timeframe. Revenue totals use the Salesforce Amount field on the opportunity. Keep these points in mind when you read the numbers: The full value of a deal is attributed to every linked asset. If three assets are linked to a 100,000 deal, each asset shows 100,000 of influenced revenue. The same applies to asset types. A deal's revenue counts toward every asset type shared on it, so totals across assets or asset types can add up to more than Influenced won revenue. An asset shared on several deals is counted once for each deal. Revenue influence looks at any content shared via email, link, or Shared Space that is logged to an opportunity in Salesforce before the opportunity's close won date Back to top Deal data syncing with Salesforce Showpad syncs these default fields from the Salesforce Opportunity to build this dashboard: ID Name Amount CloseDate IsClosed IsWon StageName AccountId OwnerId Type RecordType.Name Back to top Revenue Influence data terms Use these tables as a reference for what each data term means and how it's calculated. Dimensions Dimension Description Activity Started At (Mth) The month shown on the trend charts. For Revenue Influence data, this is based on the date the asset was shared and tied to a closed-won opportunity. Asset Name The name of the asset as it appears in the Library or My Files. Asset Type The file type of the asset, such as Document, Video, Page, Photo, or URL asset. Created At The date the asset was first created or uploaded. Tags The list of tags currently applied to the asset. Measures Measure Description Calculation notes Assets Linked to Won Deals The number of Showpad assets shared with buyers and linked across all Closed Won deals. One asset shared on several deals is counted once per deal. Closed Won Revenue The influenced Closed Won revenue attributed to an asset or asset type. Closed Won Deals The number of influenced Closed Won opportunities an asset is linked to. Counts each deal the asset is linked to. Win Rate The percentage of closed deals linked to this asset that were won. Closed Won Deals divided by total closed deals, both counted at the asset level.
