Schedule, download, and manage dashboards in the Dashboard Builder Updated July 15, 2026 07:01 Building a dashboard that shows exactly what your team needs is only half the job. If you have to remember to open it, export it, and send it out every week, that value gets lost in your to-do list. Once a dashboard is set up the way you like, put it to work for you. Preview it, export it on demand, or schedule it to land in the right inboxes automatically on a cadence you choose, so your stakeholders get the same personalized view each time. See how it looks Key features View and sort all your saved dashboards in one place. Preview any dashboard in view mode before you share it Export a dashboard as a PDF or PNG, or email it once to up to 25 recipients Schedule recurring exports so a dashboard is delivered to the right inboxes automatically Rename, duplicate, or delete dashboards to keep your list organized You need this to succeed Plan: eOS Expert, eOS Advanced, eOS Professional Legacy plan: Showpad Coach Essential, Showpad Content Essential, or higher Permissions: Administrator, Promoted Member with Reporting permission Prerequisites: Activity within your Showpad instance The quick way Find your dashboards Preview a dashboard in view mode Download or email a dashboard Schedule recurring dashboard exports Manage your dashboards Do this step by step Find your dashboards Every custom dashboard you build lives in one place, with quick ways to sort through and preview them. Navigate to the Analytics tab in the Admin App. Select My Dashboards from the left menu. Click the grid or list view icon in the upper right to switch how your dashboards display. In list view, click a column header to sort your dashboards by Dashboard name, Creation date, or Last modified. Check the Scheduled column to see the cadence and time of any scheduled exports at a glance. In grid view, each card shows a thumbnail preview of the dashboard. Back to top Preview a dashboard in view mode Before you share a dashboard or schedule it, preview it to see exactly what your recipients will get. Click a dashboard's row or card to open it in view mode. Click View filters to show or hide the available global filters: Activity started at, Division, Tag, and User group. Select your preferred filters to update all charts on the dashboard. Note: Global filters applied in view mode don't save to the dashboard. To keep them, click Open in Editor and apply them there instead. Sort any table chart by clicking its column headers. If a table is too long to fit its section, click the arrows in the lower right of the chart to scroll through it. Hover over a chart to see a tooltip with more detail. Click and/or drag on a chart to focus on part of it, then click Clear filter to return to the full view. Click a legend item on the right of some charts to hide or reveal a specific group. Click the X in the upper-right corner to close view mode. Back to top Download or email a dashboard Share a copy of a dashboard to stakeholders whenever they need one, without waiting for a scheduled send. From the dashboard list, click the three dot menu next to a dashboard. Or, while previewing a dashboard in view mode, click Export. Select Download as PDF to export a printable file, or Download as PNG to export it as an image. Select Email to send a one-time PDF or PNG to up to 25 recipients. Back to top Schedule recurring dashboard exports A dashboard is most valuable when the right people see it without having to ask for it. Schedule a recurring email so your stakeholders always have the latest version, sent automatically on the cadence you choose. Click the three dot menu next to the dashboard you want to schedule and select Schedule. Once a schedule exists, this option becomes Edit schedule. Under Frequency, choose how often the report should send: Daily: set a time zone, time, and AM/PM. Weekly: set a day of the week, time zone, time, and AM/PM. Monthly: set a relative date (first day of the month, last day of the month, or a specific day), time zone, time, and AM/PM. Exact date: set a calendar date, time zone, time, and AM/PM. Enter the email addresses of your Recipients. You can include internal or external addresses, and your own address is added by default. You can add up to 25 recipients total. Select an Export type: PDF or PNG. Click Schedule. Note: As the dashboard owner, your name appears as the sender. Recipient links expire 30 days after they're sent. Back to top Manage your dashboard Keep your dashboard list organized as your reporting needs change. Click the three dot menu next to any dashboard to: Edit: open the Dashboard Builder to update the dashboard's elements, filters, or charts. Rename: update the dashboard's name and click Save. Duplicate: enter a name for the copy and click Duplicate. This is a fast way to start a new dashboard from an existing one. Delete: permanently remove the dashboard. Confirm on the pop-up.
