Access Showpad Value Factory in Showpad – Showpad Help Center

Showpad Value Factory is available in three places inside Showpad: the Experience Extension, the Asset Viewer Extension, and the Add Content flow in Shared Spaces. This article explains how to open each one and what to do if the app isn't appearing.

The quick way

Sign in to Showpad.
Open the Showpad Value Factory app from the Experience Extension.
Choose a value model or select Past Calculations.

Do this step by step

Open the Experience Extension

The Experience Extension is the main entry point for Showpad Value Factory.

Navigate to the Content tab and select Experiences. Choose the relevant value model Experience.
The Experience opens showing the available value models and Past Calculations.
If your organization provides both a production app and a sandbox app, select the one your administrator has asked you to use. Use the production app for all live prospect work.

Open the Asset Viewer Extension

The Asset Viewer Extension surfaces relevant value models beside Showpad content. It appears when you open an asset that has a content tag mapped to a value model by your administrator.

In Showpad, open an asset.
Open the Showpad Value Factory Asset Viewer Extension. [Confirm exact location in the asset viewer.]
Relevant value models appear beside the content, filtered by the asset's tags. Your past calculations are also available to review or update.

If no value models appear, the asset may not have a mapped content tag. Try opening the same model from the Experience Extension, or send the asset name and its Showpad tags to your administrator.

Open from Add Content

In a Shared Space, Collection, or My Files, you can open Showpad Value Factory through the Add Content flow to add a live report link or PDF snapshot directly.

Open the target Shared Space, Collection, or My Files.
Select the option to add content from a Showpad app. [Confirm exact label.]
Select Showpad Value Factory.
Choose a calculation and the content type to add.
Select the content type to add:

Live report link: Creates a link. Copy it and add it using Add URL.
PDF: Adds the report as a PDF file directly.
Google Slides deck: Generates a presentation and saves it to Showpad as a .pptx file. Available only when a suitable Google Slides template exists.

Troubleshooting

Issue	Solution
The app is missing from Showpad	Confirm you are signed in to the correct Showpad organization. Ask your Showpad administrator whether the app is assigned to your user or group.
The app opens but doesn't load	Refresh Showpad and reopen the extension. Try a supported current browser. Note any visible error message.
No value models appear	Your administrator controls which value models you can see. If you expect a specific model, contact your administrator with the model name and your Showpad user email.
Showpad Value Factory is missing from Add Content	Confirm you are in a Shared Space, Collection, or My Files and that the Add Content Extension is enabled for your account.
You see an administrator configuration page instead of the seller experience	Seller access does not include administrator configuration. If you need admin access, contact your Showpad administrator.

If you need to contact Showpad Support, include: your Showpad organization, your user email, the extension or page where the issue occurred, your browser and device, the date and time, and a screenshot of any error.
