Use Showpad Value Factory in Shared Spaces

Shared Spaces let you combine value reports with proposals, case studies, and other content in one place for the prospect. You can save a PDF report directly from a calculation in Past Calculations, then add it to a Shared Space using Showpad's standard workflow. For an interactive experience, generate a live report link and add it to the Shared Space as a URL so the prospect can open an up-to-date report alongside the other content you've shared.

• A Shared Space in Showpad to add the report to.

The quick way

1. From Past Calculations, add the calculation to your Shared Space
2. Choose a My Files folder to save the calculation to

Click the Add to Shared Space option again and select the Shared Space you want to add it to. To add a live report link to a Shared Space, generate the link first. See Share and track a live report link. Then add it to the Shared Space as a URL.

Do this step by step

Save a PDF report from a calculation

1. Open Showpad Value Factory and select Past Calculations.
2. Find the calculation and click the Add to Shared Space icon.
3. Choose a report template (Preliminary or Qualified Lead). 
4. In the Save file dialog, rename the file if needed, choose a folder in My Files, and click Save.
5. In the Add to Shared Spaces dialog, find or search for the target Shared Space. You can expand a Shared Space to choose a specific folder within it.
6. Click Add.

Before adding the PDF to a Shared Space, open it from My Files and confirm the prospect name, numbers, branding, and page layout are correct. If the layout looks wrong, contact your administrator with the calculation name and template name.

Follow your organization's policy for sharing prospect data externally.

Add a live report link to a Shared Space

A live report link gives the prospect an interactive, branded report experience that always reflects the current calculation values.

1. Generate a live report link for the calculation. See Share and track a live report link.
2. Copy the generated URL.
3. In the Shared Space, add the URL as a content item.
4. Give the link a clear, customer-facing name.

After sharing the Shared Space, use Activity Tracking in Showpad Value Factory to see when the prospect opened the link and how they engaged with it.

Track engagement

After sharing the Shared Space:

• Use Showpad Shared Space analytics for participant activity and engagement on Showpad assets, including the exported PDF.
• Use Activity Tracking in Showpad Value Factory for engagement on live report links.
• Read both sources together when planning follow-up.

Update the calculation as the conversation develops. A live link will show the updated values automatically. Save a new PDF and add it to the Shared Space when the prospect needs a fixed copy of the updated numbers.
