Create a calculation while viewing Showpad content

The Asset Viewer Extension surfaces Showpad Value Factory alongside Showpad content. When a prospect is viewing a product brochure, case study, or other asset during a conversation, you can open the right calculator without leaving the asset and keep the content in view while you build the business case.

• Access to Showpad Value Factory. See Access Showpad Value Factory in Showpad
• Access to an asset that triggers the extension. Contact your administrator if you are unsure which assets apply

The quick way

1. Open a Showpad asset in the Asset Viewer.
2. Open the Showpad Value Factory Asset Viewer Extension.
3. Choose a relevant value model or open a past calculation.
4. Complete the calculation and save.

Do this step by step

Open the Asset Viewer Extension

1. In Showpad, open an asset in the Asset Viewer.
2. Click the Showpad Value Factory extension. If no value models appear, the asset may not have a mapped content tag. Try finding the same model in the main Experience Extension, or send the asset name and its Showpad tags to your administrator.
3. The extension opens with two sections: Value Models and Past Calculations. Value models shown are filtered by the content tags your administrator has mapped to this asset. Your past calculations are available regardless of which asset you are viewing.

Create a new calculation

1. Choose a value model from the Value Models list.
2. Enter prospect details, answer discovery questions, and fill in inputs.
3. Select Save or Save as draft.

Continue a past calculation

1. Find the calculation in the Past Calculations list.
2. Click to open it. The full calculation form opens in the panel.
3. Update prospect details, inputs, or discovery questions as needed.
4. Select Save as draft or Save when finished.

From the Asset Viewer Extension, you can also view a report, export a PDF, add a report to a Shared Space, and share. Use the three dot menu on any past calculation to access these options.
