Understanding mobile account settings – Showpad Help Center

As a user, you can control how you store, share, and present content on your mobile device by adjusting the account settings within the Showpad app. You can choose to have content available offline by downloading assets directly to your device. Get notified about shared content engagement, adjust the look of slideshows and interactivity on the app, and protect your content with a passcode.

These options are available in the Account tab. This article gives you a brief overview of what each setting does.

In the Settings tab, you'll find the following options:

Clean Up	Erase all locally downloaded items. You can restore Collections and My Files, which will discard unsynced changes and download the last synced version of your personal content. Clear all local data and Experiences permanently.
Always Download All Files	Toggle this feature to make every file in your Showpad instance available offline. The storage capacity needed to use this setting is displayed below. Read more about downloading content on your device.
Enable Background Playback	Toggle this feature to allow audio and video to continue playing while Showpad is in the background or your device is locked.
Enable Picture-in-Picture	Toggle this feature to add a Picture-in-Picture option to video assets. When Picture-in-Picture mode is enabled, the app will automatically switch to the mini-player if you exit the app while a video is playing.
Remember last played position	Toggle this feature to ensure video or audio files start playing where you left off.
Notifications	Choose to be alerted when your shared content is viewed and/or reshared. Note: Enable push notifications in your device settings to ensure you receive notifications.
Signature	Add a text signature to your message when sharing content. Or, review and edit the signature you've set up through the Web app or Windows Desktop app. See how to create an email signature on the mobile app.
Email Body	Create and save a default email body to speed up sharing content with prospects. View how to set up and use the Email Body feature.
Bcc Addresses	Add all the email addresses you want to BCC on every share you send. Find out about the option to BCC your CRM system when sharing content.
Passcode Lock	Establish secure access to your Showpad mobile app. See how to set up your passcode.
Slideshow	Set how your slideshow presentations behave in the mobile app. Find out how to create a slideshow.
Highlight Touches	Toggle this feature to show a quick visual representation of where you tap or touch your device. See how iOS Highlight Touches look.
Sticky Swiping	Toggle this feature to allow for quick swipe navigation through pages of a multi-page document. You must do a full swipe to move on to the next file.
Services	Connect or Disconnect with your CRMs, such as Salesforce.
Privacy Policy	Review your organization’s privacy policy.
Support	Access resources from Showpad and allow network communication logging for a thorough support experience.
Appearance	Set your app's appearance to Light, Dark, or System. Learn more about Dark Mode and where to sync it with your device’s night shift schedule.
Sign out	Sign out of the Showpad app.

Download all files	Toggle this feature to automatically download all files to your device during a content update.
Download all files now	Make every file in your Showpad instance available offline. Space needed on your device is shown in a pop-up. Read more about downloading content on your device.
Send a copy to myself	Toggle this feature to send yourself a copy when you share content.

View shared content	Receive a notification when your shared content is viewed.
Reshares content	Receive a notification when your shared content is reshared.
Remove downloaded files	Permanently remove all your locally downloaded items.
Clear All Contacts and Activities	Erase all your contacts and activities.
Clear the PDF crash log	Start a new PDF crash log by clearing the old one.
Restore Collections	Discard unsynced changes and download the last synced version of your personal content.
Clear Experiences Data	Remove all local data and Experiences permanently.
Passcode Lock	Establish secure access to your Showpad mobile app. See how to set up your passcode.
Slide Duration	Choose the length of time to display each slide in your slideshows.
Transition Style	Choose either Dissolve or Swipe transition animations to play between slides in your slideshow. See how to create a slideshow.
