Understanding your Home Screen or Custom Homepage Updated November 14, 2025 16:45 After signing in to Showpad, you’ll land on the Home Screen. This screen highlights Spotlight messages from your admin, your assigned Experiences, key assets, and the latest coaching materials.Your admin may also set up a Custom Homepage for you instead. The homepage can include curated content, Experiences, Pages, Announcements, and more, tailored to your role or needs. Choose your success platform iOS Android Windows Desktop Web App See how it works on iOS Default Home Screen and Spotlight messages Spotlight messages are sent by your administrator and greet you on the Home Screen of your iOS app. You can see up to 7 messages. Swipe right to see more messages. These messages can include external links and links to Courses and content within Showpad. If users want to present content without the Spotlights and Assets sections, they can see Experiences only by clicking View All. The order of the Experiences can also be changed here. Note: If there are no available Spotlight messages, users will see Experience and Assets instead. Users with iOS 12 and earlier versions will see the Experiences welcome screen. Newest Assets Underneath the Experiences section, you see tiles that show Newest, Most Viewed, and Last Viewed Assets. They are organized by the most recent uploads, with dates listed beneath each title. Below this area, you can navigate to the different areas of the app, such as My Content, Shares, Coaching, and Account settings. Searching Searching for content and training materials is also a great feature on the Home Screen. Tap the magnifying glass in the navigation bar to find what you need. Read more about how advanced search works in this article: Using the search functionality Custom Homepages If your administrator assigned you one or more Custom Homepages, that will be the first thing you see when logging into Showpad. Same as Pages, these custom homepages can include a mix of text, assets, Experiences, and more. Note: Currently, in the iOS app, if you're viewing custom homepages that contain assets that aren't directly assigned to you, you may see an alert that you can't access the content. Your admin will need to assign this content to you for it to be accessible. You can share or add any shareable assets on the homepage to your Collections. To do so, click the three dots and select an option. If you have more than one homepage assigned to you, switch between them by clicking the Home button in the top banner and selecting another homepage from the menu. Default Home Screen The Home Screen is your starting point in Showpad. From the top-right corner, you can search for content, check notifications, refresh your content, and access settings. Spotlight messages Admins send Spotlight messages that appear at the top of the default Home Screen of your Android app. You can view up to seven messages. Swipe right to see more. Messages may include external links and links to Courses or content within Showpad. Tap a message to open it. If there are no available Spotlight messages, this section will not be visible, and you'll only see Experiences and Assets in the Home tab. Experiences The next section of the Home Screen shows your available Experiences. Swipe right to browse or tap View All to view your Experiences list. Assets Below the Spotlight messages and Experiences, you'll see up to 12 of your most valuable assets. You can switch between Newest (recent uploads), your Last Viewed, or your Most Viewed assets. Each tile shows the asset's updated date beneath the title. Further down, use the navigation bar to access areas like My Content, Shares, and Coaching. To access your Experiences, tap My Content in the bottom navigation bar. They scroll automatically if you have multiple messages. Scroll manually through them by using the arrows. Spotlight messages can also include external links and links to courses. Recommendations Underneath the Spotlight messages, you see tiles that show recommended content and coaching materials. Recommendations are fully AI-driven and selected based on your actions within the Showpad platform. You see up to 8 recommendations, a mix of content and coaching materials. The mix of tiles is based on your personal activity and, therefore, can be different than what your colleagues see. This is what you can discover in these Home Screen tiles: New assets or Experiences: Anything that was recently published that you haven't seen yet Popular assets or Experiences: Highly viewed assets over their lifetime that were not used yet Trending assets: Highly viewed assets in the last 30 days Updated assets: Regularly used assets that have been updated Discover assets: Assets that are similar to other popular assets you've already viewed Top Rated: Top scored PitchIQs Coaching recommendations will take into account: Due Courses: Uncompleted required Courses that are due soon Uncompleted elective Courses: Uncompleted elective Courses assigned to you Popular elective Courses: Elective Courses that other users have taken Searching Searching for content and training materials is also a great feature on the Home Screen.
