Mark assigned Courses as completed Updated May 07, 2025 07:00 As an admin or Promoted Member, you can mark Courses as completed for learners, giving you flexibility in managing learning progress. This option allows you to record completions outside of Showpad, carry over past achievements, and support Course changes or data transfers. By marking Courses as completed, you ensure accurate learner records, streamline reporting, and improve the experience for both admins and learners. See how it looks Key features Update the status of assigned Courses to Completed Provide learners with credit for Courses completed elsewhere Ensure accurate Course completion reports Mark a single Course as completed for one user, for multiple users at once, or multiple Courses for a single user You need this to succeed Plan: eOS Expert, eOS Advanced, eOS Professional Previous plan: Showpad Coach Essential, Showpad Content Essential, or higher Permissions: Administrator, Promoted Member with Manage Courses & Paths permissions Prerequisites: A Course assigned to a user The quick way Go to My Team and select either Members or Assignments. Find the user or Course you want to update. Use the checkboxes to select the Courses. Or click the three dot menu next to a Course. Click Mark as completed and confirm. Do this step by step Admins and designated Promoted Members can quickly update Course completion statuses, ensuring accurate records and a smooth learning experience. When a Course is marked as completed, the completion date reflects the date and time this action is taken. Learners receive credit for the Course, and related reports are updated accordingly. Please note that Paths cannot be marked as completed by admins or Promoted Members. Note: Marking a Course as completed does not issue a certificate unless the user completes any required tests or surveys within the Course. You can mark Courses as completed for users in several ways: Mark a Course as completed for a single user. Mark a Course as completed for multiple users. Mark multiple Courses as completed for a single user. Mark a Course as completed for a single user Hover over My Team in the main menu and select Members. Select a member from the list. In the Activity section of the user’s page, view the Assignments tab. Search and filter to locate the desired Course. Click the three dot menu next to the Course and select Mark as completed. Confirm on the pop-up by clicking Mark as completed. For Courses in a Path, first, click the Path to view the user’s progress, then use the three dot menu next to the Course to mark it as completed. You can also click on the Course to view the user’s progress and then click the three dot menu to select Mark as completed. Back to Top Mark a Course as completed for multiple users Note: Multiple selection is limited to 15 users per page. To select more than 15 users, repeat this process for each page. Hover over My Team in the main menu and select Assignments. Search and filter to locate the specific Course. On the User Breakdown tab, select the checkboxes next to the users for whom you want to mark the Course as completed. To select all users on the page who have not completed the Course, click the select-all box at the top of the list. Click Mark as completed at the top right of the list. Confirm on the pop-up by clicking Mark as completed. Back to Top Mark multiple Courses as completed for a single user Note: Multiple selection is limited to 15 Courses per page. To select more than 15 Courses, repeat this process for each page. Hover over My Team in the main menu and select Members. Select a specific member from the list. In the Activity section, view the Assignments tab. Select the checkboxes next to the Courses you want to mark as completed. To select all incomplete Courses on the page, click the select-all box at the top of the list. Click Mark as completed at the top right of the list. Confirm on the pop-up by clicking Mark as completed. For Courses in a Path, first, click the Path to view the user’s progress, then select the Courses and click Mark as completed.
