Create a Course Updated February 21, 2025 17:26 A Course is a structured learning program that guides users through specific training content, helping them develop skills and knowledge through interactive materials and assessments. Lessons within a Course can include engaging presentations, PDFs, videos, walkthroughs, and more, all aimed at guiding your audience toward skillful selling. To reinforce learning, Courses can include tests or surveys to assess knowledge and PitchIQs, which allow users to practice and improve their sales pitches through reviews and feedback. Click New Course. Add a title and any optional information, then click Create. Build your Course by dragging and dropping blocks. Do this step by step Navigate to the Libraries tab. If your organization uses multiple Divisions, select the desired Division from the top-left dropdown menu. Click Courses in the left side menu and select All Courses to open the Courses library. Click the New Course button. Fill in the Course Title and add an optional Description. Choose relevant Tags from the drop-down menu, or create a new tag by typing it in the field and tapping the enter key. Optionally, assign the Course to a Curriculum. Note: Curriculums combine multiple Courses covering a specific subject matter. Learn more about Curriculums. You can also choose the relevant Competencies from the drop-down menu to help users target their skills. Select a Template: You can start with a Blank Course template, the Standard format, a Copy of an existing Course, or upload a custom SCORM Course. Click Create once ready. Click on the Course information box to customize your Course details. You can further edit the Title and Description here. Choose a default Course Image or upload a custom one by clicking Browse. If you upload your own image, you can click and drag the box on the image to your preferred focal point. Tip: Illustrator and Photoshop templates of the Course cover image are available to download at the end of this article. Scroll down to the Course Information section. Here, you can replace a current Course Owner with a new one. Optionally select a Prerequisite Course that must be completed before taking this Course. If the Course you’re creating is a part of a larger Curriculum, select it from the Curriculum dropdown menu. You can additionally modify the previously set Competencies and Tags. Now that you’ve set up your Course information, it's time to build your Course by adding modules.
