Manage Courses in the Courses library Updated July 08, 2025 09:52 You can access your Courses from the Courses tab on the Libraries page. The details panel provides quick access to Course information and metadata. With the Search and filter capabilities, finding the content you need is simple. You can also apply tags to multiple Courses at once. See how it looks Key features View and sort Courses in the Libraries tab See metadata and more in the details panel Assign tags to organize your Courses Use the shortcut to view the assignment in the My Team hub You need this to succeed Plan: eOS Expert, eOS Advanced, eOS Professional Legacy plan: Showpad Coach Plus or higher Permissions: Administrator, Promoted Member with Content permission The quick way In the Admin App, click Libraries Click Courses then All Courses from the left side menu Click on a Course Manage Courses as needed Bulk edit tags if necessary Do this step by step Manage Courses Navigate to the Libraries tab. If your organization uses Divisions, select the relevant one from the drop-down menu in the upper left corner. From the left side menu, click Courses and select All Courses. At a glance, you can see the Course Title, Status, Added date, Last update date, Owner, Tags, Published date, and Publish on date. Click any column headers, except Owner and Tags, to sort the list by it. To select or deselect various columns, click the column visibility icon in the header row. You can rearrange the columns by dragging and dropping the hold icon and moving them into your preferred order. Click Save. To find a Course, use the search field and/or the available filters: Curriculums, Status, Owners, Groups, Tags, and Competencies. When filtering by tags, you can filter Courses that include ALL, ANY, or NONE of the selected tags. To create a new Course, follow the steps in this article: Create a Course. Click on a Course to view its detail panel. To go to the Course Builder, click Edit Course. If a Course is published, click the team icon to view the Course in the My Team hub. To archive the Course, click the archive icon. To delete a Course that is still in development, click the trash icon. To preview the Course, click the Course thumbnail. The Course Viewer opens in a new browser tab. To edit the title, hover over the Course title and click the pencil icon to edit it. Click Save changes. In the Details tab, view or edit the following details about the Course: Overview: Added and updated dates Description: Click the pencil icon to edit. Click Save changes when done. Course owner: Click the pencil icon to edit. Click Save changes when done. Course link: Click the copy icon to save the URL to your clipboard. Course insights Time to completion Course insights on how many users have started and completed it Course components Assignees User groups: Click the link icon to edit in the Course Builder. Individual users: Click the link icon to edit in the Course Builder. Used in Paths: Click Paths to view a list of Paths the Course is used in. Sort the Paths by Name and Status. Click a Path name to open the Path Builder in a new browser tab. Click Close when done. Tags: Local tags assigned to the Course: Click the pencil icon to edit the tags. When you're done, click Save Changes. External tags assigned to the Course: Click the pencil icon to edit the tags. When you're done, click Save Changes. Curriculums: Click the pencil icon to edit the Curriculums. Click Save changes when done Competencies: Click the pencil icon to edit the Competencies. Click Save changes when done. The Feedback tab displays user comments about the Course to guide you in making Course enhancements. You can resolve or dismiss the feedback. Learn more about exploring user feedback. Back to Top Bulk edit tags Bulk edit assigned tags to make the Courses easier to manage, find, and organize. To assign tags to multiple Courses, check the box next to each Course you want to edit. To select all Courses on the current page, check the all items box in the top bar. Click Edit to open the sidebar for bulk editing: All tags assigned to the selected Courses are displayed below the search field. To the right of each tag is the number of Courses it's assigned to. To create a new tag to add to all the selected Courses, type in the field and press Enter. Newly assigned tags appear above the search field in gray and below the search field in green. The number of tags assigned to all selected Courses is indicated in the search field. Click the X next to it to remove all tags assigned to all Courses. Click the search field to search and select from the list of existing tags. A dash indicates the tags assigned to some, but not all, selected Courses. To assign a tag to all selected Courses, click the box next to it. A checkmark indicates the tags assigned to all selected Courses. To remove a tag from all selected Courses, click to uncheck the checked box next to it. Or click the X next to the tag. Newly removed tags appear in red. You can press CTRL+V to paste a list of tags separated by commas. New tags will be created, and existing tags will be selected. Note: While editing your selection, the checkboxes to select more Courses are greyed out. Close the detail panel to adjust your selection.
