As an admin, you can modify all folders for quick, consistent updates or adjust a single folder for precise customization. Duplicating folders makes it easy to reuse layouts and content while deleting unnecessary ones keeps your file system clean and efficient. If your organization uses multiple Divisions, select the desired Division from the top-left dropdown menu. Click Experiences in the left-side menu. Select a Classic Experience from the Experiences library. At the top of the Experience detail panel, click Open Experience Builder. Back to Top Modify all folders To adjust how users view all the folders in the Experience, click the gear icon in the top right and select Edit. Check the Hide empty folders box to remove empty folders from your user’s view. Under Default view, choose Grid view or List view to update the initial folder arrangement on the Web App and Windows Desktop App. Click Save. To change the default icon for all folders, click Design and select Default folder icon. Choose an icon you want to apply to all folders, then click Save. Back to Top Modify an individual folder To edit individual folders, hover over a folder, click the gear icon, and select Edit item. You can adjust any of the settings: Upload a custom icon for your folder. Modify the folder’s name or add an optional description. Hide or reveal the folder’s label. Hide or reveal the folder in Kiosk Mode. Bulk edit the Smart Folders contained within the folder by adding, replacing, or removing tags. Select a new location for the folder. Click Save once done. Back to Top Duplicate a folder When you duplicate folders to the same Experience or another Experience in the same Division, the folders, Smart Folders, and their content are copied. When duplicating folders to an Experience in a different Division, only the folder structure and design are copied—not the content. However, Smart Folder criteria tags are copied and created if they don’t already exist. To duplicate a folder, hover over it, and click the gear icon to open the settings menu. Click Duplicate item. Adjust the settings for your new folder. Under Location, select where you want to place the folder. Click Save when ready. Back to Top Delete a folder When you delete a folder, it’s only removed from the Experience. The assets inside remain in the Files or Pages libraries. You can still use that content in other folders. To delete a folder, hover over it, and click the gear icon to open the settings menu. Click Delete item. Confirm by clicking Yes.
