Convert a folder to a Classic Experience

As your organization grows, so does your content structure in Showpad. You may come to a point where a Classic Experience contains folders that you want to move up the content hierarchy to make the assets more visible and accessible for your users. In those cases, you can convert a folder to an Experience. All subfolders and all the content they contain will be transferred to the new Experience.

You need this to succeed

The quick way

1. Open a Classic Experience in the Experience Builder.
2. Click the gear icon on a folder and click Create new Experience from folder.

Do this step by step

1. Navigate to the Libraries tab.
2. If your organization uses multiple Libraries, select the desired Library from the top-left dropdown menu.
3. Select Experiences in the left-side menu.
4. Click on a Classic Experience in the Experiences library.
5. In the Experience details pane, click Open Experience Builder.
6. Hover over the folder you want to convert to an Experience and click the gear icon to open the settings menu. Then click Create new Experience from a folder.
7. Enter the Experience name.
8. Check the Switch to new Experience option if you want to open the new Experience immediately after creating it.
9. Click Create.
