Delete users Updated March 11, 2025 16:04 You can permanently revoke a Showpad user's access by deleting their account, including access to Content and Coach. This action may be necessary when a user leaves the company or no longer requires access.Additionally, once the user is deleted, any Shares they created for prospects will no longer be accessible. However, comments made by a deleted user in Shared Spaces owned by other users will not be deleted. Note: If you wish to temporarily revoke a user's access to Showpad, you can choose to deactivate their account. This action will preserve all user-related content, Shared Spaces, and user analytics. See how it looks Key features All of the user's My Files and Collections are permanently removed. Path/Course progress is deleted. Shared Spaces owned by the user are removed. The user's attribution as the author of assets is removed. User analytics associated with the user are deleted. The user's license becomes available for reassignment. You need this to succeed Plan: eOS Expert, eOS Advanced, eOS Professional Previous plan: Showpad Coach Essential, Showpad Content Essential, or higher Permissions: Administrator, Promoted Member with User Management permission Prerequisites: Users and groups in your organization The quick way Before deleting a user, encourage them to transfer the ownership of all their Shared Spaces to ensure continued access. Navigate to Users and select the user to delete. Click the trash icon in the user information panel. Select the Delete option. Click the Delete button. Do this step by step Preparation It’s important to understand that any personal content stored by the user in My Files and Collections that are shared with colleagues will be removed. Administrators cannot transfer Shared Spaces’ ownership. Before deleting a user, ensure they transfer ownership of any Shared Spaces to another active Showpad user. Click the trash icon to delete a single user, or click Delete for multiple users. Choose the Delete option, then confirm your action by clicking Delete. When you delete a user, all their data will become inaccessible, and the user will be anonymized in analytics. Note: If you select Deactivate, the user will no longer be able to log in to Showpad, but all their data will be kept. You can reactivate a deactivated user at any time, but you can not undo deleting a user.
