Conversation starters are pre-defined prompts that appear when a seller opens Genie Assistant. They help lower the barrier to entry for using AI by providing one-click templates for common tasks, such as summarizing an asset or drafting a follow-up email. Click View next to Conversation starters. Turn Built-in conversation starters on or off. Create custom conversation starters. Update, make inactive, or delete custom conversation starters. Do this step by step Navigate to Genie settings and view Conversation starters In the Admin App, click the gear icon to open Admin Settings. Select Genie from the left side menu. In the Conversation starters section, click View to open the conversation starter library. Back to Top Turn Built-in conversation starters on or off Genie Assistant features built-in conversation starters designed to help your sellers hit the ground running. In the conversation starter library, find the Built-in conversation starters section. Click the toggle next to each Built-in conversation starter to enable or disable it for your sellers. In the details for each conversation starter, ‘Asset’ indicates it appears when the seller views a file or Page. ‘Home’ means it appears while the seller is on their Showpad Home Screen. Back to Top Create a conversation starter In the conversation starter library, next to Custom conversation starters, click the plus sign to open the conversation starter builder. In the Display info section, provide: Title: The clickable text the seller sees (e.g., "Create a Shared Space"). Description: A brief explanation of the prompt's purpose. In the Prompt section, write the specific instruction for Genie.Tip: Use brackets to create fill-in-the-blank variables.Example: "Create a new Shared Space about [product] for a [industry] prospect." In the Associations section, optionally configure how the prompt behaves: User intent: Select the primary goal (e.g., "Write An Email"). Associated Agent: Choose which agent should handle this prompt. Note: Directing a conversation starter to a custom agent requires the Expert AI Bundle. On the Professional and Advanced tiers, only prompts can be associated with your included default agents. Click Save at the top of the page when done. Back to Top Manage conversation starters You can refine your conversation starters based on which prompts your sellers find most useful. In the conversation starter library, view the list of custom conversation starters. Click the three dot menu next to a conversation starter to: Edit: Update the prompt, title, description, or associations. Make inactive: Hide the conversation starter from the Genie interface without deleting it. Delete: Permanently remove the conversation starter.
