Preparing for the Shared Spaces Management Dashboard for managers Updated November 25, 2025 16:53 Managers now have access to the Shared Space Management Dashboard. A new tool in the My Team hub. This dashboard gives sales managers key insights into their team's Shared Spaces, helping them track deal progress, coach effectively, and manage admin tasks like transferring ownership when a rep changes roles. To ensure your managers have access, assign each user a direct manager. This creates the necessary link for accurate reporting and dashboard visibility. Note: Only a direct manager can view their team’s Shared Spaces in the Shared Spaces Management Dashboard. The Showpad manager (or group manager) role carries different responsibilities. What's changing? The new Shared Spaces Management Dashboard allows managers to: See all Shared Spaces owned by their direct reports. Track engagement and collaboration between their team and buyers. View a read-only preview of each Shared Space to see how sellers and buyers interact. Transfer ownership of Shared Spaces when team members change roles. Archive, reactivate, or delete Shared Spaces as needed. Note: If a user isn’t assigned a direct manager, their Shared Spaces won’t appear in any manager’s dashboard. This limits visibility and coaching opportunities. How to prepare Assign direct managers to unlock the full potential of the new Shared Spaces dashboard. To set your organization up for success, keep these best practices in mind: Match direct manager assignments with your HR system whenever possible. Ensure every user has a direct manager assigned. Tell managers to contact their Showpad admin if team members are missing or incorrectly assigned in their dashboard. Review and update assignments after organizational changes. When ready, upload the updated CSV file back into Showpad. In the Users library. Click Add users and select Import CSV file. See more about how to prepare and import a CSV list of users. Back to Top For automated and scalable management For the most efficient and scalable solution, we recommend using auto-provisioning with a System for Cross-domain Identity Management (SCIM). Add the direct manager field to your SCIM connection, like Okta or Azure AD. Showpad will then automatically sync users and their reporting lines from your Identity Provider. This eliminates the need for manual updates, ensuring your data is always accurate. Learn more about auto-provisioning users using the SCIM connection of an SSO provider.
