The Online Platform has retired Updated January 27, 2026 18:24 On August 6, 2025, Showpad officially transitioned to the Admin App, retiring the legacy Online Platform and a few older features mentioned below. This change was a key step in our commitment to delivering a faster, more unified, and intuitive admin experience. While we said goodbye to some familiar tools, their functionality has been replaced or greatly improved by the Admin App's advanced features. Farewell to the legacy admin experience The legacy Online Platform is no longer accessible. All administrative tasks—from managing content and users to configuring settings—are now handled exclusively in the Admin App. This single, streamlined interface replaces the fragmented experience of the past, ensuring all your admin work is centralized and more efficient. Where to find User Analytics User Analytics from the Online Platform are now available in the Admin App as part of User Engagement reports. These reports provide more comprehensive and flexible insights across users, groups, and Divisions. To view stats for a specific user, navigate to the Users tab, select the user, and click the analytics icon. Coach Engagement Reports have been retired Similar insights are now available in User Engagement reports, Course Completion analytics, and Coach Reports in the Admin App. Live Training Attendance metrics will be added to Coach Reports in August. The Bulk Actions page in Coach has sunset New and improved bulk features for Coach are in development for a future Admin App update. In the meantime, you can still make bulk changes to user group assignments to a Course in the Course Builder and edit Course tags in bulk from the Courses library. The Photo Albums feature has been removed Photo Albums allowed you to group image assets using filters in the Content Library. Saved filters in the Admin App serve the same purpose and help simplify how you organize and manage content. What this means for you We’ve taken steps to make this transition as smooth as possible. On August 6, there was a one-time conversion: Your Photo Albums were converted into saved filters. They were named with the prefix "Photo Album". Any Photo Album references in Classic Experiences became Smart Folders. What’s new in the Admin App The Admin App offers several enhancements to existing features and introduces new capabilities to make your administrative tasks more efficient. Here are some of the latest updates: Improved user interface: A cleaner design that’s aligned with the broader Showpad experience, making navigation faster and more intuitive. Drag-and-drop for Classic Experiences: Easily drag and drop assets directly into Classic Experiences. Global Pages: Distribute Pages and Page templates across Divisions. Reusable Sections in Pages (available in beta): Ensure a consistent look for all Pages and manage them at scale. Bulk editing: Quickly make changes to multiple items in the Files and Pages libraries. Enhanced libraries view: Collapse the left navigation panel, rearrange columns, and resize them for a customized view. Unified analytics and reports: Access all analytics and reporting tools in one central location. Improved tag management: Organize tags into categories and rearrange them with drag-and-drop controls. Shared Space Templates: Standardize Shared Spaces and create them faster with reusable templates. Automation Rules: Automate repetitive admin tasks like assigning permissions or adding users to groups. Global search: Instantly find content across files, Pages, tags, Homepages, and Division libraries. Experiences library: The new list view makes it easier to create, manage, and browse Experiences. You can also edit user assignments directly in the detail panel. AI-powered features (some in beta): Includes automatic tag translation, file description suggestions, and beta tools like AI-generated Pages, filename suggestions, and video captions. LibraryIQ: Manage duplicate files, link localized variants, and assign languages to assets. Custom thumbnails: Upload or choose thumbnail images to boost visibility and engagement with your files. Shared Spaces management dashboard (beta): Monitor all Shared Spaces, track engagement, and transfer ownership when needed. Improved user management: Create users in sequence, duplicate user profiles, and bulk edit user information efficiently.
