Set a Cover Image for an Experience Updated December 04, 2024 23:13 Note: This article is about the new beta Admin App, which is still in development. Changes may occur. Please provide feedback directly in the beta app. Enhance your company's brand image by incorporating a high-quality Cover Image. These images help create a visually engaging layout for the sales team, enabling them to deliver a cleaner, more intuitive presentation to buyers. If no Cover Image is added to an Experience, a default background will be automatically selected and resized. Users can also rearrange and organize these Experience previews on their Home Screen in their preferred order. Note: Cover images are currently visible to users in the Content tab of Showpad's Web App, the Experiences tab of the iOS app, and Gmail and Outlook plugins. See how it looks Key features Create an immersive, branded layout If no Cover Image is used, the Experience background and logo will be presented If there's no background or logo, the preview will display a default gray background Your users can re-order these Experience previews on their home screen Cover images and backgrounds are dynamically re-sized to occupy the entire screen You need this to succeed The beta Admin App enabled Feature availability depends on your subscription package Recommended: A JPG or PNG file of 2400 pixels wide, in landscape format image that will easily distinguish your Experiences An Experience The quick way Click on an Experience to open the details panel. hover over the large thumbnail and click the pencil icon. Upload your custom Cover Image. Select a focal point. Preview how it looks on your devices and click Save. Do this step by step Navigate to the Libraries tab. If your organization uses multiple Divisions/Libraries, select the desired Division/Library from the top-left dropdown menu. Select Experiences in the left side menu. Click on the Experience you want to customize. At the top of the details panel, hover over the large thumbnail and click the pencil icon to edit the Cover Image. Select one of the following options: Use auto-generated Cover Image: By default, the landing page or background of the Experience is used as a Cover Image. You can preview how it looks on a desktop or mobile device. Upload a custom Cover Image: Drag and drop the image or browse and select it from your device. For an excellent result, we recommend a 2400 pixels wide JPG or PNG file. Alternatively, select a previously uploaded image if available. To preview how the Cover Image will look for users on various platforms, click the screen icon and choose a view option: Desktop, Tablet, or Phone. Position your Cover Image by dragging the target to a focal point, highlighting an important area. Note: A focal point is not available for auto-generated cover images. Click Save.
