Duplicate an Experience to copy design and folder structure Updated March 15, 2025 16:05 Experiences allow you to organize and distribute your content to the relevant users and user groups in Showpad. Suppose you want to reuse the folder structure and design of an existing Experience to use in another Experience or Division. In that case, you can easily duplicate that Experience and add folders and content. Click the duplicate icon in the details panel. Configure copied Experience settings and click Duplicate. Duplicate a Classic Experience in the Experience Builder Edit a Classic Experience in the Experience Builder. Click the gear icon and select Duplicate. Configure copied Experience settings and click Save. Do this step by step Duplicate an Experience in the Experiences library Navigate to the Libraries tab. If your organization uses multiple Divisions, select the desired Division from the top-left dropdown menu. Select Experiences from the left side menu. Click on an Experience in the Experiences library. In the Experience details panel, click the duplicate icon. Enter the name of the new Experience. Choose which Destination Division to place the new Experience. Select the Add me to this Experience check box if you want access to this Experience as a user. Click Duplicate when ready. A notification will inform you that the Experience is being duplicated in the background. The new Experience will appear in the Experiences library once duplicated. Back to Top Duplicate a Classic Experience in the Experience Builder Click on a Classic Experience in the Experiences library. In the Experience details panel, click Open Experience Builder to edit the Experience. Click the gear icon to open the settings menu and select Duplicate. Enter the name of the new Experience and provide an optional Description. Select the Add me to this Experience check box if you want access to this Experience as a user. You can Enable Dynamic Content Filtering here if you use Content Profiles. When checked, content inside the Experience will be shown or hidden based on the profiles used. Check the box to Hide empty folders, if desired. Select Grid view or List view to set the Default view for the Experience. This determines how users see the content within the Experience. List view is only supported on the Web App and Windows Desktop App. For Experiences that contain Smart Folders, you can add, remove, or replace tags used to filter content into the folders. If your organization uses Divisions, choose which Division you want to duplicate the Experience in the Destination section. If you duplicate an Experience to a different Division, only the Experience structure and design are copied, not the content.If you duplicate the Experience to another Division, the tags will be copied to the new Division. If the tags don't exist in that Division, they are automatically created as new tags. Click Save when ready.
