Export a list of Pages Updated November 04, 2024 10:31 Note: This article is about the new beta Admin App, which is still in development. Changes may occur. Please provide feedback directly in the beta app. From your Pages library, you can export a list of Pages and their properties to review the content and import it into other tools. You can export all Pages or only the result from a filtered search into a CSV or Excel file. The exported data includes information such as the ID, name, size, expiry date, tags, in what Experience it's used, the security permissions, likes, and the slug you can use for asset linking. See how it looks Key features Use filters to export a specific list of Pages Export Page data to an XLSX or CSV file Import the XLSX or CSV into other tools You need this to succeed The beta Admin App enabled Feature availability depends on your subscription package A Showpad admin account or a Promoted Member account with 'Manage Content' permission The quick way Access the Pages library If desired, choose a filter to populate the Pages you wish to export Click the three dot menu at the bottom-right of the screen Select Export to XLSX, or Export to CSV Do this step by step Click Libraries in the top menu of the Admin App. Select the relevant Library/Division. Click All Pages on the left side menu. Select the Pages you wish to export to a list. Filtered search: Apply basic or advanced filters to narrow down the files you want to export. All Pages: Ensure that no filters are applied to export the entire library. All Pages will be downloaded by default. Initiate the export by clicking the three dot menu at the bottom-right of the screen. Select Export to CSV or Export to XLSX. Note that the list will always contain all of your selected Pages, regardless of how many are displayed on the screen. A dialog box displaying the number of Pages you are exporting will appear. Click the Export button to continue. A processing indicator will appear while the export is being prepared. Once processing is complete, click Download to save the Pages to your device. Note: The export will include all Pages that match your current selection, even if not all are visible on the screen. To confirm the exact number of selected Pages, refer to the selection count displayed at the top of the page. Field information The exported file contains the following columns, providing detailed information about each Page. Note: Dates are in ISO8601 format. For example, 2021-09-16T07:50:17Z. Field Description id The unique identifier of the Page. asset name The name of the Page. checksum Not relevant for Pages. This will appear as empty. origin type Indicates where the Page was added from (e.g., 'local' if uploaded to Showpad, or 'Gdrive' if synced using cloud storage). description A description of the Page. url Not relevant for Pages. This will appear as empty. original file size The original size of the Page before processing. last upload The last time a new version was uploaded. expiry date The date when the Page expires. tags A list of tags associated with the Page. used in experiences Indicates in which Experiences the Page is used. global Not relevant for Pages. This will appear as FALSE. can be annotated Not relevant for Pages. This will appear as FALSE. hide in kiosk mode Not relevant for Pages. This will appear as FALSE. can be shared Specifies if the Page can be shared. likes The number of times the Page has been liked. slug Provides the slug for creating an App-Link. comments Shows the number of comments. added The date the Page was uploaded. release date The date the Page became available. archived date (Empty column; Pages in the Trash are not exported.) countries Displays locale/country settings. languages Displays locale/language settings. authors Shows the original author. external id Shows a secondary identifier for the Page, if provided. last updated The last time any metadata was updated. can be downloaded Not relevant for Pages. This will appear as FALSE. can be downloaded internally Not relevant for Pages. This will appear as FALSE. restrict internal download to pdf Not relevant for Pages.
