They are structured using content blocks and sections. A section is a group of content blocks where you can apply specific design elements. Below is a step by step guide on organizing your Pages or Custom Homepages and adding different types of content. Edit the blocks to add and customize content. Do this step by step Organize the canvas with content blocks and sections Configure the content blocks Organize your canvas with content blocks and sections Click Libraries in the top menu. If your organization uses Divisions, select the relevant one from the top left drop-down menu. Navigate to the All Pages or Homepages library. Create a New Page or New Homepage, or select an existing one and click Edit Page/Homepage. Choose a content block from the left side of the builder, then drag and drop it onto the canvas. Lines will appear when you drag content blocks. To organize the canvas, you can: Drop the block onto the green + icon that appears when hovering over any edge of another content block. Both content blocks will become a part of the same section. Drop the block on a blue Add a section box to create a new section. You can create up to four columns wide of content blocks, but you cannot resize the width of the blocks. You can create columns by dragging blocks to the left or right edge of an existing block, where the + icon appears. The maximum page width is 1100px, and the maximum margin size is 250px on each side. You can duplicate any content block or section by clicking them and clicking Duplicate at the bottom of the edit panel. This will duplicate the style of sections and any content in blocks. Click Save in the top right corner to retain your changes while working on your Page or Custom Homepage. If content has already been distributed, saved changes will be automatically available to users. Note: Customers with the Plus package cannot edit or add to the templated section but can add and edit sections underneath it. Configure content blocks Select the content block you would like to learn more about: Heading Table of Contents Text Gallery Assets Pages Experiences Courses Spacer Button Video Note: Your admin defines the available font types. Heading Headings help sellers identify the content they need. You can link to a heading from a button, gallery image, and text. Adding headings is the first step in creating a clickable table of contents. Drag the Heading block to where you want it to appear on the canvas. In the General section of the edit panel: Add a title in the Heading Text field. Turn on the Icon toggle to add an icon to the left of the title. Then, drag and drop or browse for your icon. In the Heading style section, set the Level, Text color, Font type and size, and choose the text Alignment. To save time, click Duplicate to copy the heading block. Drag and drop the duplicated block to another section. Adjust the duplicated heading and style as needed. Back to Top Table of Contents The Table Of Contents block is a clickable list of the headings on your page. The list is in the order in which the headings appear on the Page or Custom Homepage from top to bottom. The Level style you set when you edit a heading determines its list level (indentation) in the table of contents. Clicking on a heading in the table of contents will scroll to the designated section on the Page. Drag the Table Of Contents block to where you want it to appear on the canvas. In the General section of the edit panel, click the eye icon next to a heading if you want to hide it from the table of contents. In the Link style section: Choose to display the table of contents in a Vertical List and show or hide bullet points, or display it in a Horizontal List and show or hide separators between the links. Customize the Text color, Font type and size, and Alignment. To save time, click Duplicate to copy the Table of Contents block. Drag and drop the duplicated block to another section of the canvas. Adjust the content and style as needed. Back to Top Text To add written content, drag the Text block to where you want it to appear on the canvas. In the editor, type the text you want to display. It will automatically populate on the canvas. Use the text editor to enhance the appearance. Choose the font type, size, style, text color, and alignment. You can also create bulleted or numbered lists and remove the formatting. To add a hyperlink, highlight the desired text and click the link icon. You can edit the Display Text here and choose the Link Type: URL: Select the protocol and enter the URL. E-mail: Enter the E-Mail Address, Message Subject, and Message Body. Heading: Select a Heading block on the Page. To save time, click Duplicate to copy the Text block. Drag and drop the duplicated block to another section of your Page. Adjust the content and style as needed. Back to Top Gallery The Gallery block is a compilation of images. Note that PNG images with transparency are supported. Drag the Gallery block to where you want it to appear. In the Content section of the edit panel, drag and drop or browse to upload images. In the Design section: Check the Fit to block box if you want your images to fit the block. Depending on the image block size and the size of the image, it may be cropped when selecting this option. Check or uncheck the No margins box depending on whether you want to have margins on your images. Note: The image gallery will not expand beyond the Page's maximum width of 1100px, even if the No margins option is selected. You can check the Show Thumbnails box if you upload multiple images. If selected, users can navigate between thumbnails of the images in the gallery. Drag and drop the images in the Content section to set their thumbnail order. Check Automatically transition from one image to the next to display the gallery images as a slideshow. On the slider, select the duration between transitions in seconds. To view a single image's settings, click the pencil icon on the image in the Content section. To change the focal point of an image, drag the box to your desired focal point. The image to the right will show a preview of the image's appearance. You can link the image to other assets. Under Link to, select the type of content you want to link to from the drop-down menu: Asset, Page, or URL asset: Search for and select the content. Experience: You can filter your search for an Experience by selecting its Type, and then selecting the Node, if applicable. Heading: You can link to any Heading block on your Page/Homepage. Note: On a shareable Page, links to Pages, Experiences, or non-sharable assets will not work. To delete an image from the gallery, click the trash icon next to the image’s thumbnail. To save time, click Duplicate to copy the Gallery block. Drag and drop the duplicated block to another section of your canvas. Adjust the content and design as needed. Back to Top Assets Note: On a shareable Page, non-shareable assets are not displayed. Drag the Assets block to where you want it to appear. In the General section of the edit panel: You can add a Title to the block. Turn on the Icon toggle to add an icon to the left of the title. Then, drag and drop or browse for your icon. Under the Content section, add content Manually or Dynamically: Manually Search for the assets you want to include, then select them from the list. They will be added to the section. You can also browse and select assets using various filters by clicking the Advanced option. Choose to filter based on File Type, Property, Tags, Locale, Author, or Source. You can also use the search bar here or apply a saved filter. Select the files you wish to add to the Assets block, then click Insert items. Dynamically To fill the content block with only certain file types or asset properties, click File Type or Property and select them from the list. To Include assets with specific Tags, specify the parameters. Match ALL of these tags: Exclude content that doesn’t have all tags. Match ANY of these tags: Add results that match any single tag. Match NONE of these tags: Choose which content tags to exclude. To include assets mapped to a specific Locale, specify the parameters. Match ALL of these languages and countries: Exclude content that doesn’t include all these locale properties. Match ANY of these languages and countries: Add results that match any single locale property. Match NONE of these languages and countries: Choose which locale properties to exclude. Use the Source filter to narrow where the assets are pulled from by specifying All Libraries, Other Libraries, or the current Library. Type a number in the box to set the maximum number of assets you wish to populate. Up to 20 files offer the best viewing experience. If more assets match the dynamic filter than the limit set, the additional assets won't be available to the user. If you do not limit the number of files per block and your dynamic filtering parameters pull more than 500 assets, you'll see a warning advising you to set a lower limit. To ensure a seamless experience with the Page, Limit the number of files per block. Type a number in the box to set the maximum number of assets you wish to populate. Up to 20 files offer the best viewing experience. When left blank, the number of files is limited to 250. Remember, if more assets match the dynamic filter than the limit set, the additional assets won't be available to the user. To see which assets are unavailable at your limit, click the number of more results below the content list. Click next to the Sort by: option to sort your content in Ascending or Descending order: Manually: Drag and drop the assets in the list to order them. This option is only available for content added manually. Name: Order assets in alphabetical order. The order in which assets are displayed is case-insensitive, shows characters and symbols first before filenames that start with a digit, and groups digits together. For example, “a”=“A”, “Asset.PDF” will be displayed before “1Asset.PDF”, and “1Asset.PDF”, “2Asset.PDF” will be displayed before “10Asset.PDF”. Added: Order assets by the time they were first added to your Library. Uploaded: Order assets by the time they were re-uploaded to your Library. Updated: Order assets by the time their properties were last updated. Views: Order assets by the number of times they are viewed. In the Settings section, customize how the assets are displayed in the block. View mode: You can display the files in a Grid or List view. Depending on the view mode you choose, different display settings are available. With either Grid or List view selected, you can choose to: Show block when empty: Show the block and title even if content is unavailable. Disable this option to hide the block and title when empty, but note that it may affect the layout. For example, if multiple blocks are next to each other. Enable item selection: Show checkboxes to let users select multiple items for actions like Share, Add to Collection, or Add to Shared Space. Disable this option to hide checkboxes and turn off bulk actions. Paginate items: Set the number of files displayed in the block. Users can view all files using the page navigation at the bottom. You can set a maximum of 50 items per page. With List view selected, you can choose to: Show description: Display each asset’s description below the filename. A Show more button will let users see the full text if a description is longer than space allows. Disable this option to hide descriptions. Note: Descriptions are displayed on shareable assets on shareable Pages. Show content type: Show each asset's icon and content type above the filename. Disable this option to hide icons and content types. Show thumbnail: Show the thumbnail of each asset. Disable this option to hide thumbnails. To save time, click Duplicate to copy the Assets block. Drag and drop the duplicated block to another section of your canvas. Adjust the content and settings as needed. Back to Top Pages Note: On a shareable Page, nested Pages are not displayed. However, the block title is displayed. Drag the Pages block to where you want it to appear on the canvas. You have the same options to set up the Pages block as the Asset block. You can add Pages with Dynamic filtering using Tags, Locale, and Source. See asset directions above. Tip: Verify that users have access to all nested Pages. Adding a Page to an existing Page does not mean the user can access that content automatically. Access must be explicitly granted by adding all Pages to an Experience your users can access. Back to Top Experiences Note: On a shareable Page, Experiences are not displayed. However, the block title is displayed. Drag the Experiences block to where you want it to appear on the canvas. In the General section of the editor: You can add a Title to the block. Switch on the Icon toggle to add an icon to the left of the title. Then, drag and drop or browse for your icon. In the Content section: Select the Type of Experience you want to add to the Page. This can help filter the available options. Add Experiences by searching and selecting them from the dropdown menu. Then, search and select the Experience Node to display a specific folder. Choose Root to show the main folder of the Experience. In the Settings section, customize how the Experiences are displayed in the block. View mode: You can display the Experiences in a Grid or List view. Depending on the view mode you choose, different display settings are available. With either Grid or List view selected, you can choose to: Paginate items: Set the number of Experiences displayed in the block. Users can view all Experiences using the page navigation at the bottom. You can set a maximum of 50 items per page. With List view selected, you can choose to: Show description: Display each Experience’s description below the name. If a description is longer than the space allows, a Show more button will let users see the full text. Disable this option to hide descriptions. Show content type: Show each Exprience's icon and content type (folder or Experience) above the name. Disable this option to hide icons and content types. Show thumbnail: Show the thumbnail of each Experience. Disable this option to hide thumbnails. To save time, click Duplicate to copy the Experiences block. Drag and drop the duplicated block to another section of your Page. Adjust the content and settings as needed. Tip: Verify that users have access to all Experiences. Adding an Experience to a Page does not mean the user can access that content automatically. Access must be explicitly granted. Back to Top Courses Note: On a shareable Page, Courses are not displayed. However, the block title is displayed. Note: Sellers can only see Courses assigned to them from the Coach Library. Note: Promoted Members must have the 'Manage Content' and 'Manage Courses & Paths' permissions enabled to add Courses blocks to a Page. Drag the Courses block to where you want it to appear on the canvas. In the General section of the editor: Add a Title to the block if you'd like. Switch on the Icon toggle to add an icon to the left of the title. Then, drag and drop or browse for your icon. In the Courses section: Add Courses by searching and selecting them from the dropdown menu. Alternatively, click Advanced to browse and select Courses using filters based on Owners, Groups, and Status. Select the Courses you wish to add to the Page, then click Insert items. Click next to Sort by: option to sort your Courses in Ascending or Descending order: Manually: Drag and drop the Courses in the list to order them. This option is only available for content added manually. Name: Order Courses in alphabetical order. The order in which assets are displayed is case-insensitive, shows characters and symbols first before filenames that start with a digit, and groups digits together. Adjust the content and settings as needed. Back to Top Spacer Note: Spacers are intentionally removed on mobile to avoid layout issues. Add spacers to create white space between content blocks. Drag the Spacer block to where you would like to improve the spacing on the canvas. Click on the spacer and use the adjuster to change the height. To save time, click Duplicate to copy the Spacer block. Drag and drop the duplicated block to another section of your canvas. Adjust the height as needed. Back to Top Button Note: On a shareable Page, links to Pages, Experiences, or non-sharable assets will not work. Use Button blocks to create buttons on the Page that link to assets, Pages, URL assets, headings, or Experiences. Drag the Button block to where you want it to appear on the canvas. In the General section: Type the words that appear on the button in the Button Text field. A short text is preferable to avoid getting cut off when the window width is reduced. Link to an Asset, Page, URL asset, Experience, or Heading. Select None if you don't want to link the button to anything. Choose the type of content you want to link to from the drop-down menu, then search and select the content. Alternatively, click Advanced to better filter the content. In the Button style section: Use the slider to make the button's corners more or less round. Select a Background color, Text color, Font type, and Font size. Set the Button size. You can choose to fit the button to the block or to text. To widen the button, set the Minimum width. The button can’t be smaller than the text. In the Button alignment section, select an alignment of Left, Center, or Right. To save time, click Duplicate to copy the Button block. Drag and drop the duplicated block to another section of your canvas. Adjust the content and style as needed. Back to Top Video Note: On a shareable Page, non-shareable videos will not be displayed. Use Video blocks to embed Videos on your canvas. Drag the Video block to where you want it to appear on the canvas. In the General section, select a video from your Showpad library using the video asset dropdown menu. Alternatively, click Advanced to browse and select a video using filters based on File Type, Property, Tags, Locale, Author, and Source. Select the video you wish to add to the canvas, then click Insert item. In the Playback section, you can check the box to have the video Autoplay, play Muted, or play on a Loop. Browsers do not allow videos to autoplay when sound is enabled, so the video will be automatically muted if you select Autoplay. The viewer can choose to unmute the video when viewing. To save time, click Duplicate to copy the Video block. Drag and drop the duplicated block to another section of your canvas. Adjust the content and settings as needed.
