Set up a PitchIQ module Updated November 05, 2024 22:28 Note: This article is about the new beta Admin App, which is still in development. Changes may occur. Please provide feedback directly in the beta app. PitchIQ helps users practice critical sales skills, with managers offering one-on-one coaching. Typical uses include demo certification, message consistency, and onboarding. Admins can set up PitchIQ modules and request peer reviews for non-critical pitches, such as client stories. These role-playing scenarios mimic real-world communication, fostering effective team learning. Add a PitchIQ to a Course Configure the PitchIQ settings Manage PitchIQ reminders Back to Top Add a PitchIQ to a Course While building or editing an unpublished Course in the Course Builder, drag and drop the PitchIQ block to the Course from the left menu. A PitchIQ can be part of a Course with a lesson, test, or survey or be a stand-alone module. You can only add one PitchIQ per Course. Select the PitchIQ type from the Pitch type drop-down menu. You can choose Recording, Write, Upload, Screen Capture, or Voice Over. If you select Recording, Screen Capture, or Voiceover, use the checkbox to determine if it will be a Webcam pitch. If left unchecked, users will use their microphone only. Recording: Users record a pitch using their device's microphone and/or webcam, which can be used for automatic PitchAI analysis. Write: Users write a pitch to simulate authoring an email. A text box will be provided in which users will write a response to the PitchIQ goal. Upload: Users will upload a video or audio file they created outside the Showpad platform. Video or audio files can be uploaded in the following formats: .mp4, .mp3 .mov, .wmv, .avi, and .webm. Screen capture: Users will record content on their screen with audio-only or webcam recording. This is best used for process and product demo purposes. Voiceover: Users will add commentary to a static file using their microphone and/or webcam. You can allow users to upload their own file or add a file you want them to present. Accepted file types include PPT, PPTX, PPSX, XLS, XLSX, DOC, DOX, and PDF. Add a PitchIQ Goal to help explain what you want your users to achieve with their pitch. Next, choose your PitchIQ Metrics. Select the five metrics that align with the Course you are creating. Click in the field to display a drop-down menu with the other criteria options available, as well as definitions for each. Only the selected criteria will appear as options for your users. Read more about customizing PitchIQ criteria. Back to Top Configure the PitchIQ settings Open the Pitch Settings by clicking anywhere within the PitchIQ module. Set the Time to completion. Which is how long you expect a user to finish the module. Set a Target time. A target time allows users to understand the approximate time this pitch should take. Going over or under the target time won’t stop the recording. Their performance based on that understanding can be factored into your scoring criteria. We recommend keeping the target time under 10 minutes. Enter a Passing Score percentage. To require users to get a passing PitchIQ score to pass the Course, check the box next to Require passing score to pass Course. If they get below the passing score, they will fail the Course. Under PitchIQ Review panel, choose to assign Managers and/or Named individuals as reviewers. If you select Managers, choose between All group managers or Managers of assigned groups. All group managers: Reviewers are all managers of groups a user belongs to, even if the group is not assigned to the Course. Managers of assigned groups: Reviewers are only managers of groups the user belongs to, assigned to the Course. Named Individuals: Reviewers are individually selected from the same Division as the Course and will be reviewers for all Course participants. Optionally set the Due Date for Reviews. Check the Assign due date box to set how many days after submission reviews should be completed. You can Lock pitch reviews after due date by checking the box. This means reviewers will not be able to review a pitch past its review due date. If needed, admins or Promoted Members with access can unlock a Course past its final date by picking a new deadline, allowing it to be reviewed again. Under Reviews that count towards the official score, check the Managers and/or Named Individuals boxes. To Make pitches visible on leaderboards, social page, and search results, check the box. Check the box for users to see all Course pitches, or uncheck it to show only pitches from their group. Back to Top Manage PitchIQ reminders You can set up automatic reminders for PitchIQs that need to be completed. Click the gear icon in the upper right corner to open Admin Settings. Select Messaging from the left menu and scroll to the Coach Messaging section. In the Pitch Management Reminders section, choose the default reminder frequency between Never, Semi-Monthly, Weekly, or Daily. Click Save.
