Edit PitchIQ review settings after Course publication Updated March 27, 2025 16:59 You can change PitchIQ review settings after a Course is published, even if pitches have already been submitted and reviewed. The changes will apply to newly submitted pitches. For example, if you change the assigned reviewers of a PitchIQ from Managers to Named individuals, then any newly submitted pitches will be reviewed by the individuals. The submitted pitches not yet reviewed will still be reviewed by managers. These options allow you more flexibility to adjust your published Courses as needed and continue to adapt to ever-changing organizational circumstances. Read on for specific scenarios outlining what happens when you edit PitchIQ panels, due dates, and score settings for published Courses. Change the Assign reviewers options in the PitchIQ review section. Static PitchIQ review panels By default, PitchIQ review panels are static. This means that the reviewer settings are applied only when the PitchIQ is submitted. Here are some examples of what happens when you edit the static PitchIQ panels for existing Courses: If a PitchIQ hasn’t been submitted yet when the panel is edited, the newly selected reviewers will receive it for review once it is submitted. If a PitchIQ has been submitted and then reset after one or more reviews have been completed, it will be treated the same as a PitchIQ not yet submitted. Dynamic PitchIQ review panels Dynamic PitchIQ review panels recalculate automatically as review panel settings are changed in the Course Builder. They also account for user management changes. (e.g., activations, deactivations, user group manager changes, license changes). Note: To enable dynamic review panels, contact your Account Manager. When dynamic PitchIQ review panels are enabled, this is what happens: Dynamic panels automatically add reviews to the to-do lists of newly assigned reviewers and remove them from the to-do lists of those who should no longer review. Completed reviews will not be removed. Changes to the PitchIQ review panel in Course Builder will start recalculating the already submitted PitchIQs immediately in the background. User management changes are applied to existing reviews once daily. You can trigger an immediate recalculation of the changes by clicking the Recalculate pitches button in Admin Settings on the PitchIQ tab. Learn more about refreshing PitchIQ review assignments. Back to Top Edit review due dates for a PitchIQ after publishing In the Course Builder, open the PitchIQ Settings panel by clicking anywhere within the PitchIQ module. Change the Due date for reviews options in the PitchIQ review section. Here are some examples of what happens when you edit the PitchIQ review due date for existing Courses: The newly adjusted due date will be applied to all existing open reviews and any new reviews submitted after the edit has been made. Existing completed reviews will remain completed (with a prior due date), and the user will be informed. If the new due date has not yet passed, the review process continues normally. If the new date has already passed for an existing review, it will be handled as overdue, with logic as-is. If a lock is not enabled, the reviewer will still have the possibility to submit a review and will receive an email that there is a pitch that needs their attention. If the lock is enabled, then there will be no possibility of reviewing it after the new due date. Back to Top Edit the official score of a published PitchIQ In the Course Builder, open the PitchIQ Settings panel by clicking anywhere within the PitchIQ module. Change the Reviews that count toward the official score options in the PitchIQ review section. Here's how altering the review criteria affects the official score: The new official score settings apply to all current open reviews and all future submissions. A pitch with one or more completed reviews AND one or more pending reviews can still have its official scores change when a new official score setting is set. A pitch with one or more complete reviews AND zero pending reviews will never have its official score change.
