Configure your admin personal settings Updated October 02, 2024 08:00 Note: This article is about the new beta Admin App, which is still in development. Changes may occur. Please provide feedback directly in the beta app. As an administrator or Promoted Member, you can manage your profile, update your credentials, and adjust your email preferences through the Admin App. Regularly updating your password also enhances the security of your account. See how it looks Key features Add a personal touch to your presence on Showpad Set the time zone you’re working in Change your password You need this to succeed The beta Admin App enabled Feature availability depends on your subscription package Administrator or Promoted Member access to Showpad The quick way Click your monogrammed initials or picture in the upper right corner, and select Personal settings. Select one of the following actions: Upload a profile picture Set your name and timezone Update your password Select your email preferences Do this step by step Upload a profile picture Uploading your profile picture personalizes your account, making it easier for team members to identify you in communications and when assigning tasks or permissions. If you'd prefer not to use your picture, use your monogrammed initials. They'll appear wherever a photo would. On the My Profile page in Personal Settings, click the pencil icon on the picture or monogram to add a picture or to change the one already there. Supported formats are JPG, JPEG, and PNG. Either drag and drop your picture or click Browse to locate it on your device. If you’re changing the picture, click Change photo and select the picture from your device. To revert back to your monogram, click Remove photo. Once you’ve selected a picture, you can zoom in or out using the slider. Click and drag it to the area you'd like to highlight. The circle shows what others will see when your picture is displayed. Click Save. Back to Top Set your name and timezone On the My Profile page in Personal Settings, you can adjust your first and last name. To update your timezone, click in the Timezone field to search and select your timezone. Click Save changes. Back to Top Update your password Click Security in the Personal Settings left menu. In the New password field type your new password and then type the same password in the Confirm password field. You can click the eye icon to hide or show the password. Ensure your new password meets the listed Password requirements. Click Save changes when ready. Note: Passwords must not include the company name or your first or last name Back to Top Select your email preferences Click Email Preferences from the Personal Settings left menu. To receive a weekly email digest with insights about content usage and platform adoption, check the Email digest box. To unsubscribe, uncheck the box. Click Save changes.
