Save time by staying informed about content performance and identifying opportunities to optimize your library using these actionable insights. Showpad delivers the digest to your inbox on Friday mornings. You can customize which insights you receive or opt out entirely in your personal settings. Note: You cannot change the frequency of the Admin Email Digest. See how it looks Key features Receive a weekly summary of platform adoption, content usage, and library health. Customize your digest to include the activity insights most relevant to you. Be notified of content that is unused, unengaged, or missing key information. Filter key library health metrics to see insights for only the content you author. Only see insights for Divisions in which you are a Promoted Member. Select Email Preferences from the left side menu. Toggle on Email Digest and then toggle on the sections you want to receive: Most relevant activity: Check the boxes for specific activity insights. Library key health metrics: Check the boxes for specific library health metrics. Optionally, toggle on Limit metrics to my authored content to filter the key health metrics. Click Save. Receive the Admin Email Digest every Friday morning. Do this step by step Customize your Admin Email Digest settings You can manage all your digest subscriptions from your personal settings page In the Admin App, click your avatar in the top-right corner and select Personal settings. Select Email Preferences from the left side menu. Tip: You can also click the unsubscribe link at the bottom of any digest email to be taken directly to this page. To opt-in or opt-out of the weekly Admin Email Digest, click the toggle to the right of Email Digest. Click the toggle for Most relevant activity to subscribe to that section. Ensure the boxes for the specific insights you want to include are checked. (e.g., Most popular content, Most active users, etc.) For a quick definition of each insight, hover over the information icon next to its title. To remove an insight from your digest, uncheck it. Click the toggle for Key Health Metrics to subscribe to that section. Ensure the boxes for the specific file and Page metrics you want to include are checked. For a quick definition of each insight, hover over the information icon next to its title. To remove a metric from your digest, uncheck it. Note: This section is only available on plans that include LibraryIQ. If you have Key Health Metrics enabled, you can also enable the Limit metrics to my authored content toggle. This will filter the key library health metrics portion of your digest to only show metrics for content where you are listed as the author. Click Save. Subscribe to key library health metrics from LibraryIQYou can also add specific Key Health Metrics to your digest directly from the LibraryIQ dashboard. Navigate to the Libraries tab. If your organization uses Divisions, select the relevant Division. Click LibraryIQ in the left menu. On the key health metric cards, click the Add to email digest icon to subscribe to that metric. The metric in your digest will include data from all Divisions you can access. The icon will update to show you are subscribed. Back to Top Understand your weekly Showpad digest Your digest is broken down into the sections you've subscribed to. The data shown combines information from every Division you have access to. Most relevant activity This section provides insights into platform adoption and content usage from the last 30 days. Most popular content: This insight shows your top five items with the most views over the last 30 days. Each item includes a thumbnail and its view count for that period. Click any item to open the corresponding Content Analytics page in Showpad. Most active users: In this section, learn who the top five most active users are based on their number of sessions in the past 30 days. You’ll see each user’s name, their session count, and the percentage change in sessions compared to the previous 30 days. Click any user to view user engagement details in Showpad. Most popular searches: Discover what your users are searching for most. This will help you understand what kind of content your sellers seek. Searches with 3 or less results: Learn which searches aren’t returning any results. We'll show you search terms that returned fewer than three results in the last week. This insight reveals whether users seek content that doesn’t yet exist. It can spark new content ideas. Trending assets: Here, you’ll see which assets are trending upwards, with the fastest growth in usage over the past 30 days. Click any item to open the corresponding Content Analytics page in Showpad. Key Health Metrics This section helps you easily find and fix content hygiene issues. It highlights content from your files and Pages that needs attention. The weekly Email Digest provides key metrics to help you understand the health of your Files. File key health metric Description Never used files Number of files older than 30 days that have had no activity from sellers or buyers. This helps you identify potentially outdated or irrelevant content. Seller activity includes in-app views, Shares, downloads, and adding to Shared Spaces. Buyer activity includes views of emails, links, Shared Spaces, and downloads. Files without recent engagement Number of files with no seller or buyer activity in the last 90 days that may need to be refreshed or archived. Undistributed files Number of files that are not part of any Experience, or on a Page that is part of an Experience. This helps you identify content that isn't accessible to sellers. Note: Files used only on a Homepage will also appear in this list, as they are not technically part of an Experience. Files about to expire Number of files that will expire within the next 30 days, helping you proactively manage content lifecycles and avoid using outdated materials. Files without author Number of files missing an assigned author. Assigning an author is key to maintaining content and ensuring accountability. Note: When the author is deactivated, the file still has an author. Files without tags Number of files that don't have any tags assigned. Adding tags makes content easier to find and distribute through search and filters. Files without locales Number of files that don't have a country or language defined. Assigning locales ensures sellers see content relevant to their region. Click Open LibraryIQ to view the key health metrics in Showpad. LibraryIQ will open in the global Division or the first Division you have access to if you are Promoted Member. In LibraryIQ, you can click a card to review pre-filtered files in your Files library and act on the insights. Page key health metric Description Never used Pages Number of Pages older than 30 days that have had no activity from sellers or buyers. This helps you identify potentially outdated or irrelevant Pages. Seller activity includes in-app views, Shares, downloads, and adding to Shared Spaces. Buyer activity includes views of emails, links, Shared Spaces, and downloads.
