Generate text and images for Pages and Homepages with AI (Beta)

Whether starting a new Page or Homepage from a blank canvas or a template, filling individual blocks with content can be a tedious and time-consuming task. AI text and image creation can alleviate some of the manual work and speed up content creation. By leveraging existing content as context, you can create impactful, on-brand Pages and Homepages with minimal manual effort.

You need this to succeed

The quick way

1. Open the Page or Homepage builder in the Admin App.
2. Hover over or select a Text, Heading, or Gallery block.
3. Click Generate with AI.
4. Define your context and prompt, then click Generate.

Do this step by step

You can generate text for headings and body copy, or create unique images for your galleries, using existing Page or Homepage elements as inspiration.

Note: This feature must first be enabled in your AI Feature settings within the Admin App. Read how to do so here.

Generate text

1. Navigate to the Content library and open a Page or Homepage in the editor.
2. Hover over a Text or Heading block and click the Generate with AI button.
   Alternatively, select the block to open the side panel and click Generate with AI in the Properties panel.
3. From the dropdown menu, select your context to inform the AI's response: Current section, Select blocks, or Whole page. If you select Specific blocks, you can then select the blocks you wish to use for relevance.
4. Choose a pre-defined prompt (e.g., "Summarize" or “Create a compelling headline”) or enter a custom prompt.
5. Click Generate.
6. Review the resulting text. You can undo, redo, or modify the text as needed.

Generate images

1. Select the Gallery block where you want to add an image.
2. Click the Generate with AI button in the Properties panel.
3. Select your context (Current Section, Select Blocks, or Whole page) to guide the image style and subject. If you select Specific blocks, you can then select the blocks on the Page you wish to use for relevance. 
4. Enter a text prompt describing the image or use the suggested prompt.
5. Select an Image style from the dropdown menu.
6. Click Generate.
7. Select a variation to see a larger preview, then click Confirm selection to add it to your Page.
