Customize Showpad navigation on your iPad

To optimize screen space available on iPads, Showpad's iOS app has a customizable sidebar navigation menu and top menu, making it easy and efficient to find what you need. You can choose which items appear in the navigation menu and arrange them in the order you prefer.

Note: This feature is available only on iPads using the Showpad iOS app. To view this update, your iPad must be running iOS 18 or later.

Do this step by step

Customize the navigation menu

1. To open the navigation menu, tap the menu icon in the top menu bar.
   It will automatically open when using Showpad in landscape mode on iPads and switches to the top menu bar when the iPad orientation is changed to portrait mode.
2. Tap Edit.
3. Deselect any items you don't want included in the navigation menu. To reorder the items, tap and hold on three bar icon to the right. Move the items into your desired order.
4. To edit the order of the top menu bar items, tap and hold the menu item, then drag it into your desired order. You can remove items from the top menu bar by dragging them off the menu. 
5. To reset the menu to its original state, tap Reset.
6. When you're satisfied with the changes, tap Done.
7. While the default fixed menu top menu tabs are Home, Coaching, and Settings (as applicable per your licenses), the last viewed tab from the sidebar navigation will also appear in the top menu. For example, if you select My Files from the sidebar navigation menu, it will appear in the top menu bar temporarily.
