Please provide feedback directly in the beta app. Locking pages helps you control how content is grouped, especially for proprietary or regulated information. This prevents miscommunication if incomplete content is shared with buyers.When making documents available for sellers, you may need to ensure certain pages can only be shared together. For example, a medicine brochure might need to include a page on side effects, or another page may require sharing with a disclaimer. Note: Locking applies to a range of document pages that follow up on each other. For example, grouping pages 3-5 means that pages 3, 4, and 5 will always be grouped together in a Share or a Collection. This article explains how to lock document pages together using file permissions in Showpad’s Admin App. See how it looks Key features Admins can group proprietary and regulated pages to ensure they’re always shared together Sellers don't have to worry about including regulated or confidential outlines Supports multipage PDFs, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word files By default, all document pages can be shared without locked pages Page locking works for a range of pages Available on the Web App, iOS, Android, Windows, and Outlook add-in You need this to succeed The beta Admin App enabled Showpad Essential, Plus, or Ultimate package A document that consists of multiple pages or slides The quick way Navigate to the All Files library Find the document that you would like to lock together in a group, then click on it to open the details panel Scroll down to Permissions, and click the pencil icon to edit them Toggle the Pages can be separated option Toggle on the Page groups are enforced option to lock pages together and select the page range Click Save changes Do this step by step Open the Libraries in the top menu and select the All Files library. Locate the document with multiple pages, then click it to open its details panel. Scroll down to Permissions and click the pencil icon to edit them. Find the Pages can be separated permission. This box is checked by default. When enabled, your sales reps can mix and match all pages of this document with other content. Disabling this option means that your sales rep can't select single pages to share, and the document will always be shared as a whole. Enable the Page groups are enforced permission to ensure that certain pages will be grouped and locked together. After enabling the switch, you need to choose the range of pages that need to be locked together. Click Add another page group to select an additional range. Ensure the new range doesn’t overlap with the previous one. Click Save changes. Once permissions are set, sales reps will see grouped pages upon selecting one of them.
