Add authors to your files Updated December 03, 2025 08:09 Showpad simplifies content ownership by allowing you to assign authors to files. When you upload a file to the library, you’re automatically designated as the file’s author, making it clear who is responsible for the content.Any Showpad user can be assigned as an author, regardless of their role within the platform.The author field can be updated in bulk or individually, and you can also filter files by author. This is helpful when tracking or updating content you’ve added. You can also assign multiple authors to a file if more than one person helped create it.Note: If the user is deleted, they will be removed as the file author, leaving the field blank. If a user is deactivated, they will still appear as the file author, and you can replace them with a new author in bulk.
