Customize Shared Spaces with Sharing Themes

With Showpad's Shared Spaces, users can create a branded, personalized environment to engage with prospects and customers. This feature offers greater flexibility, enabling deeper interactions and providing valuable feedback from Shared Space invitees. Users can integrate their own content (My Files) alongside marketing-provided materials, fostering a collaborative space that supports more effective sales conversations.

While primarily a user-focused feature, admins retain control over certain parts of the look and feel of a Shared Space by assigning the appropriate Sharing Themes to Experiences just like they do for regular Shares. This capability is an extension of Sharing Themes for the Shared Content Viewer.

You need this to succeed

The quick way

1. Navigate to Libraries
2. Choose which Division you want to create or modify Sharing Themes for
3. In the Sharing Themes section, create or modify your desired themes or set a new default theme

Do this step by step

1. Navigate to Libraries.
2. If your organization uses multiple Divisions, select the desired Division from the top-left dropdown menu.
3. Select Sharing Themes in the Templates section of the left side menu.
4. Click New Theme. Then, follow the steps described here to customize the Shared Content View with Sharing Themes.

Modify an existing Sharing Theme

1. Navigate to Libraries.
2. If your organization uses multiple Divisions, select the desired Division from the top-left dropdown menu.
3. Select Sharing Themes in the Templates section of the left side menu. Click on a theme from the list to open the details panel. The details panel includes:
   
   • Overview section: You can see when the theme was created and last updated.
   • Assigned to: Click the pencil icon to assign the theme to Experience(s). This allows your users to select the theme for their Shared Space.
4. In the details panel, click Edit theme to open the Sharing Theme Builder. Here, you can:
   
   • Change the header and accent colors and add an image and/or logo. The accent color will highlight links, buttons, and folders in the Shared Space.
   • See a preview of how a Shared Space with the selected theme will appear to users and prospects.
   • View the email template external recipients see when invited to the Shared Space.

Note: Only external participants in the Shared Space will receive themed invitations and activity notifications.
