Maintain Courses and Curriculums in the library Updated August 07, 2024 10:08 Note: This article is about the new beta Admin App, which is still in development. Changes may occur. Please provide feedback directly in the beta app. The Libraries tab allows you to access your Courses from one centralized and organized location. Here you can create and edit Courses and find Course information in the details pane. The search and filter capabilities make finding the content you need easy. You can also organize your Courses into Curriculums, allowing you to quickly add a batch of Courses to a Path. See how it looks Key features View, filter, and sort Courses Find information in the Course details pane Assign tags to organize your Courses Create and manage Curriculums Use the shortcut to view the assignment in your My Team hub You need this to succeed The beta Admin App enabled Feature availability depends on your subscription package Showpad Coach Plus or Ultimate package Showpad admin access or Promoted Member with managing Courses permissions The quick way In the Admin App, select Libraries, then Courses Manage Courses Manage Curriculums Do this step by step Navigate to the Libraries tab in the Admin App. If your organization uses multiple Libraries/Divisions, select the desired Library/Division from the top-left dropdown menu. Click Course in the left menu to expand your options. Manage Courses Select All Courses from the Libraries left menu. To create a new Course, click the New Course button. See this article to learn how to create a Course. View the list of all Courses. You can sort them by Title, Status, Added date, and Last updated date. You can also view the Owner, Tags, and Published date of each Course. To update the table columns, click the column visibility icon and select your desired categories. Click the view mode icon and select Compact to see more Courses on the screen. Alternatively, select Comfortable to see thumbnails in the Course list. To find the Course you want to manage, click the search icon and/or filter the Courses by Curriculum, Status, Owners, Groups, Tags, or Competencies. Click on a Course to view the details pane. To go to the Course Builder, click the edit icon. If a Course is published, you can click the team icon to view it in My Team or click the archive icon to archive it. Click the trash icon to delete a Course still in development. To preview the Course, click the Course thumbnail. Click the Course title to edit it. Click Save changes when done. In the Properties tab, you can view or edit: the Local and Global tags Curriculums the Course belongs to Competencies it's associated with the Owner To edit the properties, click the edit icon at the top of each section. Then click Save changes. In the Info tab, view the following details about the Course: History of the Course The Paths the Course is used in How many Groups and Individuals are assigned to the Course How many times the Course has been Started or Completed The Time to Completion What Components are included A link to the Course that can be copied The Feedback tab displays user comments about the Course to guide you in making Course enhancements. You can resolve or dismiss the feedback. Learn more about exploring user feedback. Back to Top Manage Curriculums Use Curriculums to help organize and group Courses by subject. When Courses belong to a Curriculum, they can be quickly added to Paths. In the Courses section of the Libraries left menu, select Curriculums to see an overview of all your Curriculums. You can sort them by Name, number of Courses contained, or Date Created. To update the table columns, click the column visibility icon and select your desired categories. Click the search icon to find a Curriculum to manage. To create a new Curriculum, click the New Curriculum button. Title the Curriculum, then click Create. Select any Curriculum to view the details pane. Click the edit icon to change the title of the Curriculum, or click the trash icon to delete it. Note: You can assign Curriculums to Courses while building a Course or later on by accessing the Course's Properties tab. They cannot be changed within the Curriculum details pane.
