Create a Page with AI assistance

With Showpad's Pages, you can design beautiful layouts to showcase your content. Prepare your sellers by providing a comprehensive guide to all necessary information in one convenient, navigable location.

When you’re ready to create a Page but are unsure where to begin and have limited time, we’ve provided an AI assistant to help. The assistant will ask you questions about your Page and summarize your needs. With your approval, Showpad AI will generate a Page based on popular templates common amongst enablement teams. This initial advantage to Page creation will allow you to focus on the details.

The quick way

• Enable the AI Page Builder feature in AI Features in Settings
• Click New Page in the Pages library
• Select the Build with AI template and click Continue
• Enter detailed instructions in the prompt field
• Answer the AI assistant’s questions
• Confirm Page generation
• Adjust the AI-generated Page according to your needs in the Page Builder and click Save

Do this step by step

1. Open Settings in the Admin App and select AI Features. Enable the AI Page Builder feature.
2. Navigate to the Libraries tab.
3. If your organization uses multiple Libraries, select the desired Library from the top-left dropdown menu.
4. Select All pages under the Pages tab on the left menu.
5. Click New Page.
6. Set the Page name, and add optional Tags, and shareablity settings. You can adjust these settings later.
7. Select the Build with AI template and click Continue.
8. On the Create Page with AI page, there are four example prompts to start your conversation: Product, Sales playbook, Onboarding, or Persona. If selected, the chat field will be pre-filled with text. You can edit or delete the prompt in the field.
9. In the prompt field, provide details about what kind of Page you want to create. Be clear about the Page's topic, audience, and objective. The more details, the better. For example:
   • “Create a product Page for my drone PQD MD 167, including an overview, key details, benefits, and technical specifications.”
   • “The goal is to increase awareness and help my teams sell the product”
   • “The audience is internal account executives, customers, and prospects”
10. Press Enter on your keyboard to submit your prompt, or click the Send button. If you want to start a new line in the field, use Shift + Enter.
11. To provide the assistant with files you want included on the Page, click the Add assets button and browse or search for content. You can select up to 10 files, including documents, images, or videos. Click Insert Items. The assistant will build the files into the Page and use their content to generate text.
12. The assistant replies with a summary of your Page’s needs and prompts with questions for clarification. If the information provided is insufficient to build a Page, the AI assistant will continue to ask you questions.
13. When satisfied with the AI’s proposal, click That’s it! Generate my Page, and the app will generate the Page.
14. The Page opens in the Page Builder for you to review and make style adjustments. The AI assistant generates all the text.
    • If the AI assistant finds relevant documents in the Files library, it will add them to the Page.
    • The AI assistant adds placeholders for videos and images where relevant.

    • Note: Adding Courses, Experiences, Table of Contents, and other Pages is not supported.

    Click Save when you’re satisfied with the Page. You’ll find the Page in your Pages library.
