Create a Showpad Value Factory Experience Updated October 07, 2026 07:00 Showpad Value Factory is delivered as a Showpad app. After installing the app, an administrator must create a Showpad Value Factory Experience and assign it to users before they can access value models, create calculations, and share reports. Do this step by step Create a Showpad Value Factory Experience Assign the Experience to users Republish after an app update Create a Showpad Value Factory Experience Navigate to the Libraries tab. If your organization uses multiple Divisions, select the intended Division from the top-left dropdown menu. Click Experiences in the Distribution section of the left menu. Click Create Experience. Enter a Name for the Experience, select Showpad Value Factory from the list of Experience types, and click Create. The Experience Builder opens and shows a preview of the calculator sellers will see. Click Publish Experience in the top right corner. This returns you to the Experiences page with your new Experience's detail panel open. Optionally, add a cover image to make the Experience easier to find: hover over the image placeholder and click the pencil icon, then choose or upload an image. Back to top Assign the Experience to users Assign the Experience to the users who need access to Showpad Value Factory. In the Experience detail panel, open the User access settings. See how it's done. Assign the Experience first to administrators and pilot sellers who will validate value models and reports before broad rollout. Once value models are published and validated, assign the Experience to all users who should have access. Access to individual value models within the Experience is controlled separately. Back to top Republish after an app update When a new version of the Showpad Value Factory app is available, existing Experiences may need to be republished. Navigate to the Libraries tab. If your organization uses multiple Divisions, select the intended Division from the top-left dropdown menu. Click Experiences in the Distribution section of the left menu. Select your Showpad Value Factory Experience to open the detail panel. Click Open Experience Builder. Click Publish Experience in the top right. After republishing, confirm that value models are still visible for assigned users and that the Admin Extension connection is intact. Back to top
