Connect and manage your Showpad connection Updated October 07, 2026 07:00 Connecting your Showpad organization to Showpad Value Factory lets sellers access value models directly through Showpad. Once connected, Showpad users can sign in using their Showpad identity, run calculations, and manage opportunities and reports without leaving Showpad. See how it looks You need this to succeed Plan: eOS Expert, eOS Advanced Legacy plan: Showpad Platform Enterprise Add-on: Value, Value+ Permissions: Administrator Prerequisites: A Value Factory admin account Showpad Value Factory installed as a Showpad App in your Showpad organization. See Install custom Showpad Apps The quick way Install either of the Showpad Value Factory apps (sandbox or production) in Showpad. See Install custom Showpad Apps. In Value Factory, select Integrations, then select Showpad in the Sales Enablement section. Review the permissions and select Authorize Access. Confirm the Active Connection section shows your organization name and a connected status. Refresh the Showpad Admin Extension to confirm the connection is active. Do this step by step Connect to Showpad Install either of the Showpad Value Factory apps (sandbox or production) in Showpad. See Install custom Showpad Apps and follow the steps for Showpad Apps v2. For guidance on when and how to use the sandbox environment, see the Sandbox app section below. Sign in to Value Factory (value.showpad.com) and select Integrations. In the Sales Enablement section, select Showpad. On the Authorize Integration screen, review the Showpad Value Factory actions: Access Value Models: access your active value models to enable calculations within Showpad. Authenticate Showpad Users: allow Showpad users to sign in using their Showpad identity. Manage Opportunities & Reports: allow Showpad users to create and manage value calculations, opportunities, and reports. Select Authorize Access. After you authorize, you return to the Showpad Integrations Configuration page. The Active Connection section shows your organization name with a CONNECTED status. Within Showpad, refresh the Showpad Admin Extension to confirm the connection is active on the Showpad side. Back to top Review your connection The Showpad Integrations Configuration page in Value Factory displays: Authorization status Connected Showpad organization name Connected badge when the connection is active Open Integrations and select Showpad at any time to confirm the connection is active. Within Showpad, the Showpad Admin Extension, after the connection is established, gives you access to the following shortcuts in the Manage in the portal section: Manage Value Models: Opens value model management in Value Factory View Opportunities: Opens the Opportunities page in Value Factory Global Branding: Opens branding settings in Value Factory Create Embed Assessment: Opens the embedding configuration in Value Factory Back to top Disconnect and reconnect Disconnect when you need to change the connected organization or resolve a connection issue. Value calculations stop appearing in Showpad while the connection is inactive. To disconnect: In Value Factory, go to Integrations, then select Integrations Configuration. On the Showpad integration page, select Disconnect. Review the organization name in the confirmation dialog. Select Disconnect to confirm. Disconnecting stops value calculations from appearing in Showpad. Existing value models and calculations in Value Factory are not affected. To reconnect: In Value Factory, go to Integrations, then select Integrations Configuration. On the Showpad integration page, select Connect to Showpad and complete the authorization flow. Retest value model availability with a seller account. Verify that value models, reports, PDF export, and Add Content work as expected. Back to top Sandbox app The sandbox app is a separate instance of Showpad Value Factory used for testing. Value models you build and publish in the sandbox do not appear in the production app, so you can test freely without affecting what sellers see. Use the sandbox to: Build and test new value models before making them available to sellers Test changes to existing models without disrupting live seller workflows Validate report templates, branding configurations, or integrations in a safe environment Train new administrators on the configuration workflow The sandbox and production environments are completely separate. Changes in one do not affect the other. When a value model is ready for production, recreate it in the production app. Access the sandbox app In Showpad, go to Settings, then select the Showpad Value Factory sandbox app in Showpad Apps. The sandbox provides the same configuration options as production. Use test accounts and test prospect data when testing seller workflows in the sandbox. Always confirm which Showpad Value Factory tenant an app connects to before configuring or testing it. Back to top Troubleshooting Issue Solution The Authorize Integration screen in Value Factory shows an unexpected organization Confirm you are signed in to the correct Showpad organization before authorizing. Active Connection in Value Factory does not appear after authorizing Refresh the page. If the connection still does not appear, try the authorization flow again. The Admin Extension in Showpad does not reflect the connection after authorizing Refresh the Showpad Admin Extension. The connection may take a moment to propagate. Sellers cannot access value models in Showpad Confirm the connection is active in Value Factory. Then check value model visibility settings -- see Control value model visibility and tag mappings. The extensions do not appear for sellers Check the Showpad app installation, app assignment, and extension availability for the affected user. If the issue continues, contact Showpad Support with the app version, Showpad organization, affected user, extension name, browser, timestamp, and screenshots.
