Managing your Showpad notifications in Slack

In the fast-paced world of sales, staying informed and responsive is crucial. Sales representatives constantly seek effective ways to streamline their workflow and receive real-time updates on important information.

To further enhance your productivity as a sales rep, Showpad integrates seamlessly with Slack, a widely-used team communication platform. This integration lets sales reps receive Showpad notifications directly within their Slack message, ensuring they see all critical updates and opportunities instantly.

Note: This integration is currently available on request. Please consult your Showpad administrator.

After your administrator configures the integration, you will receive direct messages for the following Showpad activities in Slack:

• An email share was viewed
• An email share was reshared

For Shared Spaces, you will receive direct messages when a buyer:

• joined
• visited
• added a comment
• invited a new participant
• requested access
• added content
• adds a Next Steps module or performs an action within one

You need this to succeed

• Your Showpad and IT administrator need to enable the integration
• Your Showpad and Slack email addresses need to match
• The Slack integration enabled in your settings
• An email share you created and shared with a buyer
• A Shared Space with buyers you invited

The quick way

• Enable the Slack Integration app in your settings
• Configure the Email Shares and Shared Spaces notifications
• Share content with buyers and interact on a Shared Space

Do this step by step

1. Sign in to Showpad.
2. Click Settings and enable Slack Integration.
3. Configure your Email Shares preferences. Use the toggle to activate all notifications.
4. You will be notified when a Share is viewed or reshared by a buyer.
5. If your organization uses Shared Spaces, you can configure the notification settings for invitations, activities, comments, added content, and Next Steps. Click the toggle to enable them all.
   
6. From now on, you will be notified in Slack about Email Sharing and Shared Spaces activities.
