Accessing Showpad: How do users access Showpad? Updated November 19, 2024 19:12 Note: This article is about the new beta Admin App, which is still in development. Changes may occur. Please provide feedback directly in the beta app. This dashboard gives you insights into how your users are accessing Showpad. There are various ways to access Showpad, including the Web App, mobile apps, and multiple plugins. Gain a better understanding of what platform your users prefer, helping you focus your enablement efforts based on how your users are selling. A session refers to a set of actions performed by a user. We consider a session closed if a user remains inactive for 30 minutes after their last activity. You need this to succeed The beta Admin App enabled Feature availability depends on your subscription package Showpad Web App with admin or promoted user reporting capabilities Activity within your Showpad instance by users See how it’s done The dashboard is divided into the following sections: Filtering options Session trends Details Printing options Filtering options The Division, User Group, and Date range filters influence all dashboard sections. By default, the selected options will be all the Divisions you have access to, all User Groups, and the last 30 days. Edit your selection to see the specific data. Hover over the filter and click on the three dot menu to reset the data to default or refresh the available options. On the User Group filter, you’ll see the menu option ‘Showing only relevant values’. This opens an informational pop-up explaining that, when selecting a specific Division, only the User Group included in it will show on the User Group filter. Session trend The trend box displays the number of sessions that happened in the selected timeframe. Below, you'll see the difference in the number of sessions per user compared to the previous month. A green arrow pointing upwards indicates the number of sessions has increased for the current timeframe compared to the previous one, while a red arrow indicates a fewer number of sessions. The graph on the right side gives the number of sessions per platform for the timeframe selected. Hover over the rows to get the exact number per application type. In the example below, most sessions within the last 30 days were initiated via the Web app. There also were 190 sessions initiated via the iOS app 87 sessions started via the Gmail plugin, and 21 sessions initiated via the Salesforce (SFDC) plugin. Below the trends section, you can see a blue info box that provides information about the number of Showpad licenses assigned to users for your selection. Please note that this number currently doesn't include Partner Licenses. Details This table presents access data for your selection. The available columns are: Application type - the method of accessing Showpad (Android, Windows, Web, SFDC, Gmail, Outlook) Application category - the category of the application type (Web, mobile, or plugins) Unique sessions - number of sessions per application type Trend on unique sessions - the difference in the number of sessions compared to the previous period Unique users - number of users per application type Trend on unique users - the difference in the number of users compared to the previous period You can export the table to CSV or Excel by clicking the three dot menu on the top-right corner of the table. Printing The Export icon at the top right of the dashboard enables you to print or generate a PDF of the entire dashboard, filtered or unfiltered. You can also view all of your PDF exports. Print Click the Export icon and select Print. A preview is generated for your review. When ready, click the Print button. Generate a PDF Click the Export icon and select Generate PDF. A message will appear to inform you that the generation is in progress.This may take a few moments. You can close the message by clicking the X. A message is displayed when your PDF is ready. Click the Download button. Note: Navigating elsewhere during the PDF generation will disrupt the process, and you'll need to regenerate the PDF. View exports Click the Export icon and select View exports. A list of your PDF exports is displayed. Download the export by clicking on Click to download.
