Or administrator access Showpad Coach Essential or Plus with the Competencies add-on Choose your success platform Web App Windows Desktop The quick way to awesomeness on the Web app Navigate to the My Team hub and select Team Competencies Review your team's average Competency levels and Course progress Assess the competencies of an individual user See details about a user’s Competency scores and Course progress Do this step by step Team competencies overview Within the My Team hub, the Team Competencies tab provides an overview of the Competency ratings for each individual in your team. You can see the progress your team is making on the Courses that target the most valuable competencies and compare that against the organizational average. Hover over the My Team tab and select Team Competencies from the menu. If you manage multiple roles, select one by clicking the caret next to the role title. View your team's average Competency levels. If your organization uses a Salesforce integration, you can see a revenue indicator next to the Competency that most correlates to high sales performance. See the organizational average Course completion per role and Competency. The gray bar indicates the total Courses associated with the Competency. The stripes represent the organizational average of assigned Courses for the Competency. The solid color indicates the organizational average of Courses completed for the Competency. View your team's Course progress per Competency. Select individuals from the All Users menu or search for a specific user by clicking the magnifying glass. Narrow which competencies to review by clicking the column icon and checking the relevant competencies. Each user's assigned Course progress per Competency is available for review. Click on a user to view their user page, which includes an overview of their Course progress and competencies. Back to Top Assess user competencies You can assess a user's competencies by navigating to their page from the Members or Team Competencies pages within the My Team hub. To assess a user, select the Competencies tab under the Activity heading. If a user has multiple roles, select the desired role by clicking the caret next to it. Click Start assessment. Note: A manager or user can initiate an assessment. If the user has submitted a self-assessment, you can view it after submitting your assessment. Click Start to begin your evaluation. Note: A user can only be assessed by one manager at a time. Assess your seller’s competencies. Select a rating level between 1 and 5 by hovering over the bar and clicking on the scale that best represents the user's proficiency in the Competency. Optionally, add comments to elaborate on your choice. Click Next to rate another Competency. You can return to a Competency you've already rated by selecting it in the list on the left or by clicking Back. Change your rating by clicking on the scale that represents your new rating. The assessment auto-saves as you complete it. If you want to save your ratings and return to them later, click the X in the upper right corner. To proceed with the assessment, click Continue assessment. To cancel and clear a pending assessment, for instance, when another Manager needs to assess the same user, click on the bin icon in the upper right corner, then confirm your action in the pop-up dialog. When you're satisfied with your evaluation, click Submit. A message at the top of the Competencies tab displays the user’s most recent assessment activity. Once you and the user have submitted an assessment, you can review them. Click View assessment history. You can see how the user gauged their competencies and read any comments they provided. To consider the user's other assessments for this role, click the directional arrows on the left and right of the date.
