PitchAI helps you identify areas for improvement and refine your pitch for maximum impact. Navigate to the Coaching menu and select My Assignments. Select a Course containing a PitchIQ component. Complete the Course requirements and go to the PitchIQ component. Review the goal, passing score, target time, and scoring criteria. Click Record your pitch. If it's your first time using PitchIQ, you may need to click Allow access so Showpad can access your computer's microphone and webcam. Select the right microphone and webcam for the best audio and video recording. When you're ready, click Start Recording. Record a long enough pitch (30 seconds to 60 minutes) to get the best out of your AI analysis. When you’re done speaking, click the time to stop recording. The PitchAI will now analyze both the video and audio footage you provided. Below your pitch, you’ll shortly get an in-depth analysis of your recording. Click on each performance metric to learn tips on how to improve. Note: The speed of your AI analysis depends primarily on the specification of your device and internet speed. To some extent, it also depends on the pitch's length. In most cases, it takes a few seconds to get the analysis. Using benchmarks, PitchAI compares your pitch expertise to high and low performers, considering industry and language wherever possible to cater to cultural differences. You will be provided with a detailed analysis of your pitch performance across this range of metrics: Pace - Metrics on your speaking pace with guidance to speak faster or slower. Silences - Suggestions to pause more or less during your pitch. Body language - Insights into your body movement, with guidance to increase or decrease your upper body movement. Smiles - Ideas on how friendly you appear using happiness analysis and insights on your facial expressions. Save your pitch as a draft for comparison by clicking the Save draft button. You can save up to three drafts before submitting one for review. Delete drafts by clicking the X icon next to a draft to make room for more practice. Follow the feedback provided by PitchAI to improve your pitch significantly. Click Create new pitch to re-record your pitch as often as needed and dynamically improve it each time with AI-powered insights. Submit your perfected Pitch for a final review from your manager or peers. Good practices: To ensure the best results when recording your pitch, make sure to: Use a working webcam and microphone. Position yourself in front of the camera with your upper body visible. Speak clearly into your microphone at a conversational volume. Record at least 30 seconds of pitch for sufficient analysis. Don't worry if you're unsatisfied with the AI recommendations; it won't affect your review or score. You can turn off AI assistance via the Gear icon anytime by unchecking Enable PitchAI.
