Flexible data filtering lets you track how and when files are used in sales conversations. Click on a user in the Users library to open their detail panel. Click the User analytics icon to view the dashboard. Set a date range, filter, and export the data as needed. To view a user’s analytics, navigate to the Users tab in the Admin App. Click on a user in the Users library to open their detail panel. Click the User analytics icon at the top of the panel to view a dashboard of the user's stats. The following are available on the dashboard: Usage Summary Date Range Usage Trends User Activity - Sessions In-App Views By Platform Content Interactions Devices Used Export data Usage Summary The Usage Summary includes the user's last login, the number of active Collections, the number of personal assets uploaded, and the total storage used. Back to Top Date Range This Date Range influences the data visuals below. The last 30 days are displayed by default. To choose a different date range: Click the date range dropdown menu. From the list on the left, select a preset option, such as Last seven days or This quarter. For a custom range, select a start and end date directly on the calendar, then click Apply. Back to Top Usage Trends The Usage Trends section provides insights into user activity during the selected period, displaying key metrics such as the total number of sessions, in-app views, Shares created, and total mobile meetings. Back to Top User Activity - Sessions The User Activity - Sessions chart shows the number of sessions logged by the individual user compared to the average number of sessions per user in the organization. A session is a time-based interaction that starts when a user opens the Showpad app and ends when they close it or navigate away. View trending data by Daily, Weekly, Monthly, or Total (all time). Select or deselect metrics at the bottom of the chart to focus on either organization average sessions or individual user sessions. Hover over the chart at different dates to view the number of sessions per metric per date. Note: A session begins when a user actively engages with a Showpad app (mobile, Windows Desktop, or Web) and continues as long as they remain within the application. Navigating away, switching tabs, or returning after a break will initiate a new session. Back to Top In-App Views By Platform The In-App Views by Platform graph shows the number of times content was viewed, broken down by platform (tablet, phone, browser, or integrations like Gmail, Outlook, Salesforce, and Microsoft Dynamics). Integrations will only appear in the chart if they have been used. An in-app view is recorded each time a user opens a file or Page. The platform is the device or app used to access the content. Compare trends over time by selecting Trend in the top right corner. Hover over different dates to view the number of views per platform per date. Compare total activity by choosing the Donut option. Hover over different platforms to view the percentage of total views per platform. Filter by platform by deselecting platforms at the bottom of the chart to focus on specific devices or integrations. Back to Top Content Interactions The Content Interaction chart provides insight into the files and Pages a user engages with. Use the search field to find specific content, and click column headers to sort by any of the available criteria. To customize the chart, click the column visibility icon and choose which columns to display. The available columns are: Column Description Content The name of the file or Page with which the user interacted. Total View Time Total in-app viewing time for each file or Page. Views Number of in-app views for each file or Page. Shares Number of times a file or Page is shared with someone. For example, a document shared with two people simultaneously is considered two Shares. Avg. View Time Average in-app viewing time for the file or Page by the user. Content Type The type of content, either Marketing content from the Files library or User content uploaded by the user to My Files. Back to Top Devices Used The Devices Used chart displays all devices and browsers a user has used and the total time spent on each. Use the search field to filter by a specific device. Back to Top Export the data To export a CSV file of the data in one of the charts, click the download icon in the top right. The file will contain all data in the chart for your selected date range.
